The man, whose age is yet to be confirmed, died in a suspected suicide at about 5.20pm.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said the force received calls reporting a sudden death at the port.

He said the death of the man, who is believed to have fallen from a crane, is not thought to be suspicious.

A spokesman for the port confirmed there had been an ā€œapparent suicideā€ earlier this evening and said the man was not an employee of the port.

my biggest dispointment has to be sardinia, everyone dumps their rubbish on the side of the road, laybys full of rubbish, tyres, scrap tvs and fridges. dogs running in packs. strange goings on with regard to male car drivers when parked for the night. mind you they dont like their photo taken. soon goes quiet then. ha ha.

The stretch of the A13 from Purfleet to Barking is London not Essex and yes London is a ā– ā– ā– ā–  holeā€¦Thurrock isnā€™t part of Essex either itā€™s a unitary authority on its own

No I went to the supermarket tonight saw that Pringles Fajita, and Spagetti Bolognesse flavers were on buy 1 get 1 free offer I kind of got distracted and forgot the Pot Noodle, I know I know its a let down

The only good thing to come out of Essex is the birds, nice and easy and fit as ā– ā– ā– ā–  :laughing: Once knew this girl from Dagenham had been around abit shes got the biggest knockers, I always wanted to put one in that, I had a chance once but I had a missus at the time :unamused: See her a few weeks back for a catch up but shes got a bloke now ( bet his having fun ) :laughing:

on a serious note you canā€™t beat a Essex Slag :grimacing:

I can remember working in the rail yard at Ford Dagenham for a weekend about 15 years ago. Ive never been to a bigger, nastier ā– ā– ā– ā–  hole in my life! To top it all, me and a mate kipped in a flat on the saturday night, friend of a friends place or some such. This guys bog was like the toilet out the film ā€œTrainspottingā€ and he had an over flowing with cat crap and take away rubbish steel dustbin in his kitchen!!!
That was a weekend of pure hell i can tell ya. :imp:

Give or take you can divide Essex by the A127 rather than the A13. With the exception of Dale Farm etc which is only just north of the A127 everything North of it is fairly much OK. There are some nice villages, big houses and generally itā€™s tidy.

Iā€™ve always maintained that crossing the A127 to the south side things take a drastic turn for the worse.
