ERF beautys

ratchet strapped the cab to the chassis?

hi ,photo taken at truckfest, i think the truck was a winner of a cab paint design competition.
cheers diesel.

A bit of variety,

Anyone remember the cheap plastic corner deflectors on the B series when they first came out, must of worked look at them now !
I Wonder if anyone had the design rights !!

hi sniffy.
heres my b series with the after market dirt deflecters fitted, they helped a bit but wern,t that good
cheers diesel.

Does anyone have any of the following painted in Clarkes (Of Smethwick) colours of yellow over blue with red chassis?

L925 RDT Flat cabbed 6x2 EC14 twin split (Mine until I wrecked it in Feb 2000)
M333 PPG 4x2
M444 PPG 4x2

Clarkes had another N reg ERF EC14 with Fuller roadranger box, but I can’t for the life in me remember what the correct number was, (N514 KHW■■?) although I did drive it on occasions.

The reg M333 PPG is currently on the insurance database, so is on a vehicle, possibly not a truck, (Unless someone bought it after they sold it, and it is lying around somewhere.) whereas 444 is not, so must be still held by the DVLA.

Another Unkown that is always kicking around Tesco Livingston subbying…

the first ones are at the darrel removals yard, dont think its there anymore though but i do see an old foden just sitting there whenever i go by on the train.

and the 2nd one at tescos livi i think that just shunts the rsu trailers around for hallidays.

these three are now working in mombassa

Carl:

a female driver drives one of these erf’s for taylors i saw her init on a38 the other day looks tidy.

neilf:
Here are a couple that a mate of mine runs.

He has also just bought a late ECX olympic double drive for STGO work. I haven’t seen it yet but no doubt over the coming months it will be bought up to the standard of the other two.

I also know the guys that own and work the last ever ERF to come off the production line.

All photos are shamelessly plundered from the REVS ERF historic vehicles society website.

Cheers
Neilf
