Epetition for better facilities for lorry drivers

Done and putting up on my facebook page too.

Just out of interest Truckyboy are the NEW £77 million services @ Cobham not on the M25.

Just think after all that effort they may be just 1 signature short

Just signed it…every little helps…

The new services at Cobham will be no different to any of the other services around the country, they are not suitable for truckers, lack security, are over priced for parking, and the food is crap and overpriced as well, and give it time, that too will stink like a cavemans toilet.

If i thought my signature would change matters, and give us some kind of clout, and improve the industry as a whole, i would sign, but i dont trust ministers, and doubt if any of them are interested.
As an example, we have one of the most atrocious, barbaric, osamas right hand man in europe, about to walk freely amongst us, and we cant boot him out, and hes one of thousands who want to cause us harm, and you are asking for better facilities for truckers…i am sorry, but you will not get it, and after 48 yrs in this industry, i am still waiting…even after the government promised to improve parking facilities, where are they ■■?

Have signed and posted to my facebook

Jeeez you must be Physcic they’re not finished yet and you know that already :open_mouth:.

They have to recoup the £77 mill somehow, should it come out of general taxation ? Or the users ? (Poor question really beacause i think the Dartford & Severn crossing tolls should be scrapped for the greater good :sunglasses: )

Why would they stink like a cavemans toilet if it’s a truckers park, only truckers would use them theoretically are you alluding to what others on this site think that they are all dirty barstewards to lazy to walk to toilets and throw bottle of p*ss/truckers nectar out of the window :open_mouth:

Would be alot easier if you ‘special’ drivers used your initiative
Why do you force yourselves to have to park in places that charge you?

ive signed it too , gotta do something its 2012 now so dont see why us truckers have to work in crap conditions after all the econmy needs us more than we need them

Signed it!

I’ve just signed it too.

Only 971 signatures so far, yet over 2,000 views on Trucknet alone.

I guess everyone else is delighted at the facilities for truck drivers, then?!

I wonder if the Marks and Sparks driver with his Plan A trailer that I saw in the parking area near Monmouth today has signed this petition.

Perhaps no, as he was ■■■■■■■ on his truck rather than walking all of 30 metres to the toilets.

A light yellow spray arcing gracefully through the air, backlit by the low winter sun. The soft pitter-patter as shimmering droplets dance on the cold, grey asphalt. A golden puddle forms, giving off faint wisps of aromatic steam, while tiny rivulets seek out and fill the cracks and crevices on the frost-kissed ground.

That’s not just any ■■■■, that’s an M&S ■■■■.
