50 Not out…………
3 days from now an era ends;
No lies; No bull; just truth.
I’ll wake up on the 21st;
Having waved ‘goodbye’ to youth!
I’ll peer into the mirror;
Feeling only 20 and still nifty.
But glaring back with jaundiced eyes
I‘ll see……A sad old git of 50!!
I can take the grey hair on my ‘bonce’
And the slowly dimming sight.
The knackered knees, I’ll handle;
And the trousers getting tight.
My one regret and only thing
I’ll really try to fight?….
It takes all night to do just ‘once’;
What ‘once’ I did all night!!!
But like I said to ‘My Sweetheart’
“Dear… this make take a while.
Just bend over on your zimmer frame;
And we’ll do it ‘■■■■■■■■■■■!”
Now I’m old enough not to care;
And am through with all that dating;
I may try something new for me…
Some ‘rodeo style’ mating!
I’ll mount her from the rear…
Call her the name of my old ’ex’.
Yell, “Yeehaw!”….Raise my hat
And try to stay on for 8 secs!

I may have to age and sometime go;

I’ve booked a cruise with SAGA

To hell with that! My new plan?
To age ‘disgracefully!!’
My final wish? To die at 90. .
