Maybe it would be better if the RHA took a similar stand against an obvious government policy of putting a lot of operators out of business by taxing them off the road amongst other anti road pro rail transport policies.

There’s nothing wrong with Germans even if CF doesn’t like them. I have German ancestors, Jewish German ancestors to boot. However I’m sure CF will now claim I’m part of the German global conspiracy and I’ve stolen a British Job. As my grandfather was born in London to Jewish German immigrants in 1894, I reckon I’m at least partly British by birth and fully Canadian by choice. I haven’t read his views on Jews yet. What do you reckon they are?

From the point of view of us here in Britain and the British ze Germans are at best our competitors and at worst a nasty lot of zb’s.I think there’s plenty of Israelis who were happy to ditch their German roots and history as soon as they arrived in Israel.If you’ve read some of my other posts I prefer the idea of citizenship by descent not by birth.Therefore I agree that those surviving European by birth Israelis who fought for recognition of Israel are Israeli not German.I aslo think that Germany should have been removed as a country at the end of WW2 and the Germans made stateless.I also think that Canada is a British colony based on ethnic British colonists.

Mike, the link you gave to their previous stance was regarding Phoenix companies, they now say their Articles of Association apply to all Companies that make an arrangement with their creditors, so is inclusive of CVA:
