I also make my own bread and it makes fantastic soldiers for dunking in a boiled egg.

We have a bread maker, never managed to hold on to any long enough to fry an egg to go between a couple of slices though, as soon as cools enough to cut my lot appear from their hidey holes like a plague of locusts and the hound hoovers up all the crumbs.

If I caught you trying to take the little black bits off my eggs, I’d kill ya :wink: Does anyone remember the real transport caffs of years ago ? Usually a big fat bloke with a filthy greasy apron and a ■■■ hanging out of his gob, coughing ash all over the ■■■■■■■■■ pan. You had to be 'ard to eat in them places.

The snack van in Potter Heigham near the bridge is very good, poor access though. There used to be a nice cafe on the station in Torquay some years ago, not sure if it’s open now.

Does anyone remember the chap who welded himself in to his cafe at Guyhirn back in the 90’s? :laughing: :question:

I got home from a trip this evening, said I’d sort meself out some dinner as it was going to be a bit late and went to the chinky, the slant eyed ■■■■■ were closed at 8:30pm :cry:

So I knocked up egg n chips when I got home, proper home made fat chips and a couple of perfectly cooked fried eggs. A couple of slices, salt, pepper and vinegar and I’m glad the chinky was closed.

No pics though, nobody got time for that ■■■■… :sunglasses:
