With further regard to my previous post abt stobarts tesco in widnes.I took ady1 advice instead of going through the agency i applied straight to the company and then received a letter stating i had passed their inital vetting process and i was just waiting for a date for my assessment then i received a phone call today asking me to attend a exam driving assessment and a interview at the end of may!!!

I know this is cheeky is their anyone been there seen it and done it at stobarts.
if successful any chance of a general idea of wages plz. :grimacing:

i said he got everything he wanted,not quite,hes not keen on getting up early,normally 6 a.m starts,his first day hes down as a 2 a.m starter :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :laughing:

There was me thinking the financial crisis was because of greedy bankers selling shares they had borrowed to make the price go down then buying the shares back at ridiculously low prices, inventing things to sell that didn’t really exist and letting people borrow money to buy houses that were not worth what they paid for them and who had no ability to repay the loans anyway.

Stobart may have undercut other haulage companies and caused their demise but he wasn’t the only one playing that game and laying the financial woes of the world at their feet is just a bit much, even for a twisted whacko like you.

well done on that mate, i hope u enjoy it, im booked in for my class 1 in 2 weeks time and when/if i pass :grimacing: then im going to apply at stobarts … money doesn’t seem bad, and what ive read on here the work sounds like its not the hardest too :smiley:

I think you should have concentrated on your english literature rather than dabbling in a haulage company.
Most of your comments regarding ESL are hearsay and irrelevant to this topic.
Have you thought about a career in journalism by any chance? The Daily Sport would be a good starting point.
