I was told that it around the 8 spuid an hour with overtime and bonus above that.

Not enough to do a 350 mile per week commute would be my thoughts mate. Make sure you ask a lot of questions re pay, overtime rates and holidays etc. :sunglasses:

8 sheets PH :open_mouth:… i will have to keep looking ,i fancy the job but not the travelling ,thanks for your answers.

Not quite 8 I believe…

Think there is a £15day tax free meal allowance plus a £5day fuel bonus and yes I know it should be incorporated into the hourly rate but then it would be TAXED :exclamation: :exclamation:

So add £100 per week onto your quoted hourly rate for those :exclamation: :exclamation:

There are literally 100’s  of threads on here ref Stobarts wages,
the search function button at the top is your friend.

Ask all about pay when you go for interview and anything else you need to know.

Just shy of the £8 per hour. but taking into the £15 per shift TAX free meal allowance thats at least an extra 50p per hour your expected 30 hours per day working :stuck_out_tongue: plus your £5 fuel allowance if you can keep it green all day

what type of work you looking for at rugby tho fella? tramping ? at 70 miles a day its a long way to drive a clean well maintained motor without any ā€œhard graftā€

good luck all the same whatever you choose jason

Classic :grimacing:

Brilliant! Six hundred quid a week and you’re ā€œhaving to use soup kitchens, [and] scavenge though the supermarket bins on your break to try and find clothesā€. Do yourself a favour and have a read of George Orwell’s ā€œDown and Out in Paris and Londonā€, then you might just start to realise that poverty is not Ā£600 a week takehome. Then do us a favour and get yourself a new job.

Know one of our lads who went to your place, said there’s not much in it money wise, haven’t rang him for a bit so not sure if he’s there, another went there and left, did evenings, but long hours and didn’t see kids, think another went but again not sure if still there.
I rang for a application in feb, when we had redundancies, but never got one( can you blame them   ).
Think I’d prefer the work, but long hours don’t appeal anymore, but you never know I might just make a appearance one day.
N.b it’s alright mate, I was joking, not really comming, you can tear that notice letter up

I certainly wouldn’t laugh at Chubby Brown, that’s true.
