Oh no I’ve missed half of it, oh well ill catch it on 4+1 .
I dunno why but I like these sort of programmes. Doesn’t Ice Road Trucker though, That’s just number 1 . Wish channel 5 hurry up and start announcing when there going to air it. Not paying sky for the history channel lol.
(I know its not really the topic for this, But did stobart take over James Irlam? or are they in a partnership? just that i remember hearing something about stobart taking over, yet I still see irlam trailers and the company website still seems to be online.)
Of course, instead of sitting in her truck, waiting to load, Fiona could have had a quick look around the truck. Perhaps she’d have noticed
that she had a headlight out.

The comentary is making my sides hurt with laughter, he’s making it sound like there is only stobarts who deliever in the country. Big brother is watching you!
Well I thought it was quite a good episode. That chick and the other kid make much better telly than Mo and “Mr. Bomb” did.
Apart from the headlight and a few silly narrator comments I couldn’t fault the programme and thought it was quite entertaining for both truckers and non-truckers.
Them spotters are a bit OTT though. There’s no way I could put up with that BS if I worked for them, they’d do my nut in. Just get a life or something. It’s a truck, same as all the other trucks out there.
I think Rikki can relax and breathe a sigh of relief. Nowt really to ■■■■■ about this week.
ETA: Oh and nice touch with naming the kid’s new truck after his other daughter. Was impressed by that.
Bewick:
FROM THE BUNKER----and as the whole nation collectively holds its breath in anticipation of the "second"coming, sorry I meant Episode,on channel 5(Broadcaster of many other quality programmes)all the Saddos,Anoraks, wierdo’s,Eddie spotters and assorted knuckledraggers have had thier medication increased for the “duration”.However I understand from “sources” that a Tablet has been handed down from Mount Stobart containing the following two decrees, and I quote,With immediate effect Mo the Baptist will be cast out into the wilds of the Caldbeck Fells for forty days and forty nights! as he singularly failed to win over the many thousands on “non believers” who are out there in the Country! On the contrary it appears that he had the opposite effect and managed to singlehandedly stir up a [zb] storm which may continue un-abated until the Show finishes or is taken off by the “censors for good taste in Broadcasting”.It is further decreed that for the duration of the transmission all movement of HGVs will be suspended(with the exception of ESL vehicles of course!)to allow all non-believers to view the screening and hopefully see the error of their existing employment.Furthermore all truckstops will be placed on Red alert and chickenwire screens are to be placed over all HD flatscreens so as to deflect the M/T bottles of Lager (various), the eruption of which may start at anytime during, and certainly after, the reality show ends.PS recruitment centres will open throughout the UK and Worldwide at 9AM sharp to-morrow morning!and closed at 9.05AM on the same day! Here endeth the Lesson.Morcambe and Wise never attracted larger viewing figures to what a “Fast Eddie” soap is doing!!
Said by the most smug, head up his own backside twerp on trucknet … but he’ll still watch it ,probably in his shed sat next to all his Bewick tspt memorabiliar
Getting really noticeable, must annoy him that this upstart is turning £10 mill a week and has 3000 drivers.
I didn’t see last weeks episode but just watched this weeks and thought it was okay apart from the narrator trying to make a drama out of nothing and getting all Ice Road Truckers by reminding us what we saw just minutes before.

Perhaps she was on a break so couldn’t walk round the vehicle checking stuff.

Yeah that’s the only thing I don’t like either. Surely those trucks would’ve gone off the end of the runway by now and be ploughing through some fields somewhere. It’s the camera-under-the-ice equivalent of IRT.

pretty much agree with all of that Rob I know it’s good PR for Stobarts, but at least its; a program that shows truck driver on a positive light.
Where can I catch up? Is it on YouTube like last week?
Ken.
Go to five.tv and then click the ‘demand’ button and it’ll be in there. Haven’t looked but might not be uploaded yet as it’s only just finished. Sometimes they take a few hours for them to appear on the “i-player” type thingy.
