Well I thought it was quite a good episode.That chick and the other kid make much better telly than Mo and “Mr. Bomb” did.
Apart from the headlight and a few silly narrator comments I couldn’t fault the programme and thought it was quite entertaining for both truckers and non-truckers.
Them spotters are a bit OTT though. There’s no way I could put up with that BS if I worked for them, they’d do my nut in. Just get a life or something. It’s a truck, same as all the other trucks out there.
I think Rikki can relax and breathe a sigh of relief. Nowt really to ■■■■■ about this week.
ETA: Oh and nice touch with naming the kid’s new truck after his other daughter. Was impressed by that.
Would have to agree with Rob there, apart from the Div narrating and saying everything is a disaster, luckily he didn’t bring up the ‘disaster’ that her headlight bulb had blown!
Still a bit gutted about the ‘creamy mess’ in the back of her trailer though!

Yep I thought Fiona was quite good and not bad on the eye either 
but still prefer Lisa if I had to choose, but let’s not go down that road because Rikki will get his axe out again .
Well I felt a little bit for that Mark, very little mention of his wife/partner and 5 nights away from home, I could be wrong but i got the feeling that maybe tramping has ruined his relationship just the same as it has for a great deal of us in the past. I remember spending nights away from home when my kids were about the same age as his, and now i regret not watching them grow up.
Overall, i didn’t find a lot to complain about in the program, but i don’t regret missing the first one, and I won’t go out my way to watch the others, Why be reminded of the same old [zb] I get every day at work!

Dennis has probably made all his millions and feels that the big green machine is just a pretender. Bewick Transport was a big name in its time.
As for the programme Ady1 and Rob k have it bang on, just a decent documentary showing lorries, no bullcrap, except from the narrator.
Hardly any worse than Airport or Charlie Dimmock

Goes out again on Channel 5 at 11:40 Sunday morning.
it was repeated last Saturday but now channel 5 has changed it, thought it was a bit random it being repeated on the sat since 5 normally repeats documentaries on a Sunday.

I watched tonights episode… and i offer this a food for thought/comment
If you knew abslolutly nothing about the industry - Joe Public would take away from that that its a clean, highly organised, efficient industry that can quickly adapt to changing circumstances - not a bad image that as an industry as a whole we would want to project…
Now we all know the reality is different, but do we realy want yet another expose on bent running, poor maintainence etc we have had more than our sahre of them.
Like Stobarts or not, I think to Joe Public it gives a fairly positive (if inaccurate) image of the road transport industry
PS, I loved the helicopter shot of the stobarts truck gaining 0.0005 mile per hour while over taking the Prestons of Potto truck, if they had held that shot it would have probaly used up the total 45 minutes

Well yes it is true that she had to call Scania out to put her red airline on, but then on the other hand I wouldn’t crawl over her to get to you.

She didn’t say the fitter came out just because she couldn’t get the line on. She said it’s the most difficult to get on, which is probably true given the side she is coupling from and under the fridge motor, and she said she once had to get a fitter out because of a problem with it, she didn’t say the problem was that she just couldn’t get it on.
