Dump, truck? [Merged]

Rich262:
The area around Winsford Industrial Estate is well known to be littered with drivers byproducts. The estate management had approached local businesses and asked them to fund portaloo toilets for Road Three and Road Five (where this incident happened). But I have never seen these facilities appear.
The trouble with the industrial estate is that there is a plan to expand it, and if you look into the small print, there was to be a small area of land set aside for a “Truck Stop”. This local plan was to have a privately run truck stop that would only cater for up to 10 trucks. I looked into this and only when I found that it was to be up to 10, I realised that it was a nonstarter.
Can I blame the driver for taking a [zb] between his trailer and unit, no.
Should he have slung the “parcel” - no, but there are no rubbish facilities available in the area.

The local management know of an ongoing issue and have done nothing to address the issue.

Sorry Rich, I know you condemn the guy in one sentence, but then concede that perhaps the estate management are at fault, for not providing facilities. Whether they should or not is a moot point. I can say for a certain fact, that no matter what the circumstances, I would not do what that guy did. People get prosecuted for doing it with dog ■■■. That guy should at least be fined.
Not sure if other drivers have experienced being ‘shadowed’ on some industrial estates if they happen to arrive a bit early, and park up for a brew and read of the paper? I think the estate owners are getting a bit wary of truck drivers, and the costs they bring.
Just had a large influx of out of town drivers in my local railfreight depot. Only been a couple of months, and local residents, and the dock owners are up in arms over the litter, damage and inconsiderate parking. The berks throw their plastic bags of sh*te over the fence into peoples back gardens. What grown up responsible person would do this?

This is where you have to get in, use VALID planning concerns to object to any expansion of the business Park unless the issue of truck parking facilities is satisfied and use the above example as an example of lack of facilities.

Fact is we don’t have enough truck stops, at times you can’t even park to go use a toilet, no wonder people are ■■■■■■■■ wherever they have to.

I see your point about truck stops, but ■■■■ ing out in the open in broad daylight?
Hoying a bag of ■■■■ in somebody’s yard?
No wonder drivers are looked upon as low intelligent and common, …I mean ffs.
If he was that desperate, get in the back of his trailer, and dispose of his bag somewhere responsible. :unamused:
I thought the Dutch had a bit more sophistication about them in general,.
Seems some of them are as bad as the lower end of the scale Brit driver.apparentlly.

Dipper_Dave:
Bloody hell a 6 wipe jobby, we’ve all been there praying for a clean drop and ending up with chocolate moose.

Got caught short the other day but did mine in cab and disposed of poop in my bin at home. Wife went mental as it was the bread bin.

In fact shutting the curtains, perching across the passenger seat and letting rip into a bin bag is my preferred ■■■ technique.

Have you ever missed the drop zone? Lol

Why do you think all these trucks and the rest are parked right outside the truckstop ? (And no it isn’t full)

Well, the only way to stop this is to put more cctv cameras in every corner of Britain and fine heavily, also introduce financial rewards to members of public to grass on truckers. That’s the only solution.

Christ I do hope you’re being ironic mate, God help us if you’re not and truckers actually think like that. :open_mouth:
(And apologies if you are btw and it’s a Wooosh on my part   )

Btw…The likely reason those guys are not parked in the adjacent truckstop will be that their tight as arse holes bosses refuse to pay parking. :bulb:

If I was faced with a layby with no facilities or a truckstop with manky facilities and a toilet covered with skids of the last 100 drivers dropping the contents of their massive guts all over the pan…I’d take the layby any day. In the last 15 years I’ve probably only parked in a dozen truck stops. In fact in 4 years I’ve not parked in one.

It’s bad enough going for diesel with wagon drivers embarrassing them selves, let alone sharing a table with a fat Neanderthal who can’t eat without dribbling, or waiting to use a toilet after they’ve ■■■■ last night’s kebab over the seat or using the shower that has a pube infested floor and a ■■■■ stained curtain.

Until personal hygiene is mandatory in the cpc I’ll stick to quiet laybys and many of the other hidden places I know of. No offence but “wagon drivers” are their very worst own enemy.

Guess what. I’ve never ■■■■ in a bag, or on the pavement or under the trailer. Every night of I can’t get to a shower during the day I have a full hot water wash either inside or outside the cab depending on the weather.

And here’s a little game some of you fat lazy ■■■■■ can play. Get some thick gloves and a bag. Pick up the rubbish where you park and put it in a nearby bin. Sometimes the owner of the adjacent premises will see this and thank you. And in 3 cases I’ve been allowed to park in their yard when other wagons get chased. And told to feel free to use the toilet/wash room and fill my water barrel.

Ok I know that game is a bit below some of you professional drivers because I’ve told I shouldn’t do it by professional drivers. But there again I think polishing fuel tanks and wheel trims is degrading. Hey ho.

Good night my lovely fellow drivers. God bless and have a lovely Christmas.

There are one or two more up market type Truckstops, but yeh you’re right there are also a few that are sh holes.
Stracathro springs to mind, those bogs have been like that since 1982 that I know, and maybe that was the last time they were cleaned.
Others can only be described as no frills/basic, some needing a facelift more than others.
I prefer my own little corners near to town facilities where you don’t meet the types you mention, and only use t.stops if I have a valuable load on…not entirely safe but insurance valid.

Stracathro. Christ that is dump. Needs bulldozed.

Upmarket truck stops? Probably still frequented by chubby truckers with goatees. No thank you.

Don’t mind them tbh, quality guys in fact, …and some not SO chubby, more butch and manly. :sunglasses:
It’s the plastic Jocks I avoid.

What a fat, dirty, horrible prick.

I hope the company [zb] him off. No excuse whatsoever for that :imp:

Are you for real??

Yes, it’s totally disgusting that a driver has demonstrated his toilet etiquette in this way, and no doubt his employers are going to reprimand him.

But encouraging members of the public to grass on truckers? Really?

I’m not condoning for a second his behaviour, I’ve been caught short and have managed to be discreet enough in the back of the truck to spare my dignity without causing a nuisance to anyone.

The public already hate us. So when we pick our nose, wave at a kid in a passing car, light a cigarette ( I dont smoke), take a slurp of water or coffee whilst sat in traffic, inadvertently block a junction or side road through no fault of our own…and etc, you are happy to suggest the public grass us up?

I’m thinking that you must be perfect .
Good on you fella. You carry on asking the public to grass a trucker up.

Have you been driving trucks for long pal?

What is disgusting is the tacit condoning of the drivers actions by some on here.

I’m not advising anything, I’m simply stating that this is the only way to stop it. There will always be people that don’t adhere to ‘normal’ behaviour standards, so my post wasn’t meant to be suggestive.

A Dutch truck driver has made the news here in Holland, by being captured on camera taking a ■■■■ next to his truck in Manchester and flinging it over the barrier. My wife translated the news item. Apparently, the truck firm has apologised to Manchester and sent flowers to the city, but admit the driver is still working for them.

It’s also reported that the driver wiped his bottom nicely !

I think you might need to be part of Facebook to view the news item. Sorry.

Jeez H Christ mate, even I’m virtually speechless…You ARE being serious. :open_mouth:

Yeh nice idea bud, just what the UK needs :unamused: , even more neo Stazi like intrusive surveillance backed up by weasely type grasses, you know the type, those guys who sit down to take a ■■■■, taking great pleasure in informing on us all, for this that and the ■■■■ other. :unamused:

Just wondering here, are you one of those drivers that believe, (and even repeat) all the management type horse crap that tells us in cab cameras are …‘’ There to protect us’’ :unamused:

Ffs!
