One of our Ee drivers was coming out of the Isle of Grain a while back when a pheasant flew off the field and totalled his windscreen - don’t actually know how he drove it back to yard. Anyway manager asked me to help him fill in accident form cos his English wasn’t so good. I got a bollocking when he read that a budgerigar had hit the screen!

They have similar in Slough, but it’s frowned upon to knock them over.
