Drivers Passing Through Calais

I take it you have read the Koran then CF, and when I said read it I did not mean just skip reading but actually took it all in ? or what …

Maybe he doesn’t like fiction?

Fine piece of thread derailing. The op asked for drivers’ experience running the gauntlet in Calais, not for right wing diatribes.

As you seem to think that opposition to the open door immigration policies that are causing the problem,is supposedly ‘right wing’,maybe you could explain why those policies are supposedly good for the working class, assuming what’s good for the working class is your definition of left.Or for that matter why that same Socialist agenda seems to think it has a monopoly of the so called ‘left’ as opposed to people like Le Pen. :unamused:

Yea but you’ve made you point in every thread that even has a remote connection with the subject.

How about you give us your experiences of going through Calais in a truck as the OP asked for?

I completely agree with the nodding donkey.

Carryfast…

Can you help please… I’m struggling to see the relevance of your post to the OP’s question.

Did I miss the bit about how many times YOU have been through Calais in a truck?

Just in case I missed something, the key word is: RELEVANCE

:bulb: Carryfast, I’m just wondering… have you read the forum rules on trolling/random crap?

One day it will happen. One day they will manage to get into a drivers cab and drag him out and most likely kill him. It would most likely be some poor EE lad who’s its first time on Euro work. Either that if he will floor it, knocking them aside like skittles as he flees for his life only to be strung up by the go-nads when he gets back.

…and why would they do this?? isn’t it fairly important that the lorry they are hiding in has a driver so that it can move across the channel.I can’t really see the point in 20 lads jumping in the back of a lorry to smuggle themselves onto the tunnel…and then battering the person responsible for driving it.so they are left sitting in a non moving lorry causing a traffic jam. :unamused:

They attack drivers when they realise that they aren’t going to get a lift to the UK and then start ransacking the load, in the summer a driver who was heading to Strasbourg had his trailer broken onto when he stopped in Calais explained to them where he was heading and was then set upon as they stole some of the load. They know that there is a high chance of them being caught in the port or Eurotunnel so will help themselves to whatever they can. Take a look at some of the pictures that are kicking about, the EE lorry with a scaffold bar through the windscreen if that had been a right hand drive lorry the driver in all probability would have been killed, they attack the lorries to cause a hold up on the run in to the port making it easier to gain entry to the one held up in the queue

If the rule of law-and-order, as imposed without reservation upon the majority; both in the UK and in France, was actively being imposed upon the lawless ‘few’; at Calais, the subject matter of this thread simply would not have come into existence, therefore I would dispute that carryfast’s posts were woefully ‘off topic’.

There wouldn’t be a problem for him to express an opinion on if the illegals weren’t there to be discussed, and why shouldn’t they, and the [perceived] reasons for them being there, be made part of this, or any other, discussion that orbits round the subject of illegals, it is not SOLELY drivers transiting through Calais that are being affected by the illegals.

If carryfast’s opinions can have been adjudged to have dragged this thread wholly ‘off topic’ then where exactly do you hibernate at all other times?, when few [IF ANY] threads remain ‘on topic’, I can only assume those of your species spend far more time asleep than awake, for all the good you are, and your fellow moderators; at any attempt to be an impartial arbiter, you might like to consider taking a fistful of sleeping tablets, and return to the Land of Nod.

My curiosity isn’t normally aroused, because of knowing that it did indeed kill the cat, undoubtedly by boring it to death, but on this occasion I’ll risk the venture of inquiry: what was so incongruous about the carryfast posts’ that he alone; of those going ‘off topic’, was singled out to be made an example of?, when, for example, are we going to see Dipper Dave singled out for PERVERTING EVERY THREAD he contributes to -no matter what the original topic- by steering the conversation down his one-way-street of gratuitously expressed ■■■■■■ deviancy, is that so apt for a site named trucknet?, if so, please explain the RELEVANCE.

I’ll bite.

Dipper Dave injects a little light hearted comedy, usually along with some sound advice/comment.

Carry Fast is just a stuck record. And Dipper Dave only interjects once or twice. Carry Fast goes on and on and on… a bit like a stuck record.

For the avoidance of doubt, I don’t like the scum in Calais either. But I don’t bang o about it endlessly.

Because others go off topic either lightheartedly or briefly or to cover new ground, Carryfast has made his opinion on the subject quite obvious time and time again with pages and pages of posts, on any thread where he can ram his opinion down our throats.

and in the end the thread ruined as it turns into a Carryfast on his soapbox.

these pics were taken recently after the migrants started attacking queues of trucks waiting to get into calais

Now we can look forward to LOTS “More of the same”.

I guess the “sleeper” voters for the main parties - don’t live near Calais. :frowning:

Same as UKIP in the end - “Loads of Votes” - Zero regions won.

All it takes is the main parties to double-team the fringe opposition party - and now “Anything can be done” to upset the people - “because the main parties have the mandate to do just that”.

Is Carryfast the love child of Mili Tant and Dave Spart ?

This was done by an axe coming through the driver’s side of the windscreen.

The side window was broken by a brick and components damaged underneath when he ran over something thrown onto the road.

Yes a coach, it had to be recovered from Dover to the midlands for inspection and repair. It happened on the main drag in from junction 47 about 6 weeks ago.

Seen this earlier on Facebook…
