Doesn’t say if it’s a lapsed or banned licence or just never held one. How many others are there out there?
Could’ve lapsed, as I know the owner driver of that. He’s an old boy from Ashford, who pulls out of the grain, unless the motor has changed hands recently of course
I did hear a story where Staffordshire constabulary stopped a wagon sporting NI plates, s/b on the M6…lad behind the wheel was 15yo
I guess he didn’t have a licence either
Ovlov jay, that’s very possible. It’s quite a distinctive truck.
In my 30 year driving career I’ve only needed it to produce my licence to an employer and never the police. It doesn’t surprise me that some would chose to not have a licence and chance it particularly since getting and maintaining a licence is so expensive.
Did it mean No Licence at all
Did it mean No licence on person
Did it mean DVLA has no record For if it was a Rumo, he has no need to register anyway.
Did it mean, out of date, its still valid for 10 years i believe
Did it mean no O
licence in date ( for there is one in the window )
Did it mean no O
licence registered to that person
Did it mean no TV licence
There are a lot of people ready to strike, just because of this one report from Essex Police, the most corrupt in the entire force. in my honest opinion
Think you’d be surprised how many are driving around without a licence…was watching a rerun of Traffic Cops the other day (featured CMPG) and Dibble was driving along M5 near j2-3 at 75 (his words), car overtakes slowly and he said he’d pull it over for a ‘word’…woman said she overtook him so her lad could wave at him…quick check showed she hadn’t had one for 12 years…she hadn’t reapplied for it after something or other, said she thought it was automatic!! Their Twitter feed is a good indicator of just how many are on the roads who have no insurance/licence/banned/pished and everything else that goes with driving illegally

I think you’d better put your glasses on and read it again.
The 15 year old Irish lad with no Lgv licence is true.He looked much older than that and it was his families business. He went all over Europe too.Good driver that did not attract attention.

Lol not sure where the o licence rant came from either.
It does seem Sussex plod aren’t too sure now. On facebook they’ve used the same picture but said no insurance. It could be both or just a confused copper.

He got nicked because of his bright colour, his penchant for perching on the dash of ridiculously high powered trucks and also for constantly swearing on camera!

I know him to and he ran legal so I would say it’s changed hands.
He only done local work didn’t want the long stuff.
So, those without glasses, i will reiterate…there is a picture of a Renault truck, with the caption Seized this today, driver had no licence
so as theres no mention of what licence was required, thought i would mention a few, i did forget an ADR one, and i mentioned O
because it is indeed a licence, for those that dont know what one looks like, its the green disc below the tax disc, and as stated in a later post, the same vehicle is being used to advertise the fact that a vehicle has been seized because of NO INSURANCE. but from a different police force.
So With or without Glasses, i can smell a rat a mile away
You still missed it.
green disc
Looks blue to me.
