driver shortage

We dont need the large workforce that used to be employed when this Country actually made things. There were benefit junkies back in those days as well. The financial troubles have been caused by the bankers and the Lords claiming benefits that they are not entitled to.

Harry Monk:
It always amazes me that even in the depths of a recession, there are still those who make the assumption that anybody who is unemployed is some kind of layabout or scrounger.

Five years ago, there were 1.61 million people unemployed. There are currently 2.63 million unemployed. It doesn’t mean that a million people have suddenly decided to become “lazy” or “workshy”. But still this attitude persists.

That’s because this set of thieves and hypocrite’s in charge at the moment (as opposed to the last set of thieves and hypocrite’s) go by divide and rule, while the attention of the people is being directed at someone defrauding the benefit system of £1,000 (which is wrong) your not seeing Philip Green avoiding paying £250,000,000 of tax or Lord Ashcroft avoiding a similar sum TWO individuals avoiding HALF A BILLION POUNDS and how many more are at it? no headlines about these two you will note.

Yeah I saw the tax avoidance program on panorama takes the ■■■■, if they could just sort those few people out our country would be a hell of a lot better off! Instead they seem to go chasing the small time crooks because its easier for them and makes their figures look better! ■■■■ right off!

Once turkey enters the EU we will see massive immigration again just as we did when Poland entered which will drive wages down lower

The UK will have left the EU long before Turkey becomes a member.

Negotiations were started on 3 October 2005 so, if it happens will be around 2015, the sooner the UK leaves the EU the better

I wish you were right, but whilst either of the ‘threecheeksofthesamearse’ party holds power then it ain’t going to happen.

Apparently tory and nulab, two of the three arse cheeks, are likely to promise referenda on the EU as part of their next election manifestos, deja vue, have we been here before.

Harry Monk:
particularly if eastern Europeans return to their home countries, which is the trend at the moment and will continue to be the trend as those countries become progressively wealthier.

That trend might to turn round if you will be really needing drivers. I guess with less CPC trained drivers available wages will go up. And then Eastern Europeans will be happy to come back here again - everyone in Poland and other countries have their CPC because it’s old story there, and now with EU unifications it is accepted here…

Harry Monk:
Already happening, which is why so many Polski Sklep shops have closed down over the last year or so.

That’s makes no sense. Sklep and shop is exactly the same word

Except by then it’ll be a different EU in which Turkey is a member and cabotage will be allowed without restrictions. :open_mouth: :smiling_imp:

Turkey won’t be a member of EU in 2014 and I doubt it will be in any foreseeable future.

It would if I was PM together with those cabotage regs then I’d leave the EU after I’d put pressure on the EU to make it all happen. :smiling_imp:

its because they fail too many drivers on there tests ,just because you get nervous on your test doesnt mean your not good enough,i mean i see drivers running over kerbs every 2 mins then they keep failing drivers on there test for doing the same,as long as your not running over someones toes what difference does it make. :unamused: :unamused:
