Driver Pulled - DCPC - Help

I agree ROG, that is the case. If full LGV (C or C+E) entitlement was acquired pre-September 2009 then only Periodic training required/allowed. Indeed if any driver tries to take Module 2 or 4 tests to gain Initial DCPC qual. after an upgrade as in OP’s case (with pre- September 2009 Cat. C of some kind already on his licence) this will not be allowed by DSA system, therefore the only way to gain DQC is to complete 35 hours Periodic training prior to September 2014. Of course there is still around 16 months before the DQC is a legal requirement in these situations.

Or LGV C1

If any one out there wants a usefulDCPC by doing A.D.R.or HI-AB etc. make sure that the course has been passed by JAUPT or it would not count for DCPC purposes.

This is getting me confused.

I passed:

C1E test on 17/8/2006
C test on 26/6/2008
D test on 19/6/2009 and did initial Dcpc theory and practical (2 + 4?)
CE test on 11/2/2011 no dcpc test

Did I NEED to do an initial Dcpc for my D license? Reading the posts above I’m still not sure if i needed to.

I have since completed 35 hours of ongoing training and have a DQC expiry of 9/9/2019 so everything is hunky-dory.

…Did you have C1 before 17/8/2006 ?..t

No, that was the day I passed my test. My car license is a post '97 so I was limited to 3.5T and 750kg trailer.

You have me confused …
How did you get C1+E without passing C1 first as the law dictates■■?
