Drink driving DR10

does anybody know of any hauliers around the staffordshire or surrounding areas birmingham manchester crewe that are looking for drivers and will accept DR10 i aint looking for criticism or snidey remarks i know what i did was wrong!! just looking for any tips advice or anything to help me find work

Ware Transport used to be lenient on that sort of thing, helps if you have your Level 4.

say what ya gotta say lads i aint bothered to be honest. i was sponsored and had my licences paid for by an haulage company who then employed me whilst having my DR conviction so anything you spuds have to say dont mean â– â– â– â–  to me cuz some people deserve a second chance and do learn from there mistakes like me and that haulier saw i made a mistake and gave me the chance so fire away cuz im after a job not ya petty comments get a grip!!

I was going to say that you may increase your employment chances if you offer to pay any loading that the insurers may put on the premium. Now I know many will say why should I, but after all, you created the problem, why expect a boss to pay extra ins for you.
I do wonder if you would have tossed your licence away so nonchalantly had you have paid for it yourself?

Incidentally, why won’t the haulier who stood by you this long, not employ you?

i did not nonchalently toss it away i got done the next day on route to work still over the limit, lesson been learnt! the haulier in question has recently sold his lorries keeping an hand full only so i had to go along with some other drivers!

You will be surprised how many hauliers out there will take you on with a DR10.
None of the blue chip ones will but try the smaller hauliers.

thanks mate i live in hope as i said the bloke sponsored me and employed me after i commited the offence gave me a chance so im hoping someone else will

i would be willing to travel as far as it takes to get a job mate pretty desperate to be honest
