I believe there will be checks carried out in a joint operation between Essex police and DVSA on the M25 and M11 today.
Nope, and am not expecting to be either! The lads in the company im working for today had their knickers i a not this morning as they have done the course but not got the cards yet!! Other than that, business as usual…

The agency had to send me in to replace someone they thought had the cpc card ha.

Yes I got caught this morning. After the hot poker up my rear passage and the toenails ripped out. They let me go.

I’ve just been down the A30 west of Honiton.
In 8 miles I saw 6 police cars. Lorries in laybys being chatted to as well as cars with trailers.
Seems they’re hitting some weird spots. But at least they’re picking on B+E stuff as well so a general crackdown too.

Yes indeed the co I work for started checking everyone since Monday .No card not leaving the yard without it.Go home and get it or you don’t work. Employee or Agency it don’t matter.
I think we’ll only get asked to produce it as part of a routine roadside check

A haulage company near us have been checking DCQ’s being carried as soon as issued for around 6 months…making sure drivers (full-time and agency) get into good habit of carrying card on a daily basis. A bus company near us has a big sign in drivers room:
‘NO DRIVER QUALIFICATION CARD = NO DRIVING TODAY’. Plain & simple!!!
Every place I’ve been has asked for my blue card. Thats on agency too.
Both my sons been out driving today, recovery trucks, and last I heard they hadn’t been stopped or seen any sign of others being stopped, neither had any of their other drivers. Youngest is off over the water to the mainland tomorrow so be interesting to see if he encounters any kind of check.
