it is foolproof, and to be doubly sure, (this way you will never ever get caught) you will need a good strong magnet to put on your gearbox, vosa, gendarmes etc dont know about this. Craic on driver and good luck to you (not that you need it)

And pigs might fly,lol there even planning to replace certain gearbox parts with plastic ones due to the popularity of the magnet use ,and they have already developed some type of tell tale device built into the gearbox it’s self that will show if a magnet has been anywhere near where it shouldn’t be, so Vostapo don’t even have to find a magnet in use upon an examination , but just like everything else there will always be a way to get round it, should someone be determined enough

Sounds quite reasonable to me. The laws on driving hours were created by little h1tlers who have no experience of trucking.

There’s no way VOSA can pin anything on you and I think your boss has shown great business acumen in suggesting this.

It’s the same with drink driving. There is nothing wrong with it at all as long as you don’t get caught by the wishy washy busybodies who object just because their son or daughter or partner or parents were cut out of a car wreckage with facial injuries so severe that they had to be identified by dental records . Have you tried gluing the SIM card from your phone to the other side first? That works a treat, although I think it may eat into your bundled minutes.

I like your thinking but I have concerns about the legality of this. Would it fall foul of the rules about not being allowed to offer any kind of pay structure which encourages breaking of the regulations?

I dont believe i`m reading this crap…running on two cards…for what ■■ if caught you could go to prison, a big fine, or both…who in their right mind would take chances like that for a few shillings.
If this is not a wind up…jack the job in…and grass the company up to VOSA…thats my advice.
On the issue of a second card…i cannot believe that its possible…

1. the card requires a photo of the driver
2. if you tell DVLA its been lost, the original will be cancelled.
3. its only possible mainly if your an owner driver who needs to download the data from the head

And i dont think that a moderator should be giving impractical advice to someone asking how to screw the system…or maybe i`m talking ■■■■■■■■ again.

That may be so, but you could draw on that nights subsistence straight from the bank as it would know where you had parked. I think only the overtime could be paid into a Swiss bank account
