switchlogic:
I have two cards, one for me and one for Mr Bertie Legohead.
I prefer an analogue tacho and just pop a DVD into the drawer.
Dogtanian comes out as A Gonad Nit

Crack on, youāll be fine. Donāt listen to all the naysayers on here, no sense of adventure some of 'em. Itās foolproof and you will not get caught.
it is foolproof, and to be doubly sure, (this way you will never ever get caught) you will need a good strong magnet to put on your gearbox, vosa, gendarmes etc dont know about this. Craic on driver and good luck to you (not that you need it)

And pigs might fly,lol there even planning to replace certain gearbox parts with plastic ones due to the popularity of the magnet use ,and they have already developed some type of tell tale device built into the gearbox itās self that will show if a magnet has been anywhere near where it shouldnāt be, so Vostapo donāt even have to find a magnet in use upon an examination , but just like everything else there will always be a way to get round it, should someone be determined enough

Gotta be a wind up but, canāt resist.Your boss looks the same as you then, your mug shot is on the card.
Bottom line is, itās all well and good if thatās your thing until you have an accident where someone is injured/killed, the deception is uncovered as the Gestapo/Dibble will be inside you with a vengence, then you go to prison or to prison for even longerā¦
Iām with you. Think itās wind up but if it isnāt just pray nothing goes wrong, get involved in a serious RTA and you will probably find out if you like prison food.
I try to avoid using my āspare cardā.
Sounds quite reasonable to me. The laws on driving hours were created by little h1tlers who have no experience of trucking.
Thereās no way VOSA can pin anything on you and I think your boss has shown great business acumen in suggesting this.
Itās the same with drink driving. There is nothing wrong with it at all as long as you donāt get caught by the wishy washy busybodies who object just because their son or daughter or partner or parents were cut out of a car wreckage with facial injuries so severe that they had to be identified by dental records . Good on ya budy, we need more like you on the road stand up to these insane ārulesā
if i`m running low on time i just turn the card over and use the other side

Have you tried gluing the SIM card from your phone to the other side first? That works a treat, although I think it may eat into your bundled minutes.

if you did this with the chip from your bank it might convert driving time into cash

I like your thinking but I have concerns about the legality of this. Would it fall foul of the rules about not being allowed to offer any kind of pay structure which encourages breaking of the regulations?
yes,i think it would

Like betamax! You donāt get double sided these days what with this new fangled VHS or DVD voodoo
I dont believe i`m reading this crapā¦running on two cardsā¦for what ā ā if caught you could go to prison, a big fine, or bothā¦who in their right mind would take chances like that for a few shillings.
If this is not a wind upā¦jack the job inā¦and grass the company up to VOSAā¦thats my advice.
On the issue of a second cardā¦i cannot believe that its possibleā¦
And i dont think that a moderator should be giving impractical advice to someone asking how to screw the systemā¦or maybe i`m talking ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā again.

That may be so, but you could draw on that nights subsistence straight from the bank as it would know where you had parked. I think only the overtime could be paid into a Swiss bank account
if u went lets say,10 mins over your time, you could buy a bargain bucket from kfc on your way home, and as long as u paid for it on your card nobody would ever know
