So, you are indeed obsessed by money…
Go on then Dozy, give us a breakdown. How many hours, how much weekend? Midnight starts?

If…and that is a big if, that is a week’s pay, you must be on about £400 a day. That’s oveer £26 per hour, on a 15 hour day. Or £23,80 per hour if you max over a six day week.

You must be fun to live with. On the rare occassions that you are home, you’re either getting to bed, or getting ready to go to work.

I’m told that DHL are taking over the Wilkos’s DC1 site at Worksop, and this would explain why they are advertising for various roles including drivers

They’ve been advertising for every role from General Manager downwards in Worksop

Not sure if they are targeting Wilkos staff then going to try and move them elsewhere or have the site lined up

It’s a big shed to fill and I’ve not heard off anyone lined up though

They bought DC1 back last year infamously and flipped it a few months later, so they’ve had interest in the area.

Tbh I don’t see many jobs offering much better rates than that round here myself.

I’d like to know where all these mega rates are people often talk about. Most other non hgv jobs you couldn’t dream of earning nearly 40k a year unless you are exceptionally well qualified in proper career sectors.
