Tell him to be careful of the haggis.
Its the mating season just now and they tend to get quite aggressive

Yep, but as long as you keep an eye out around the clockwise side of a hill, you’ll be OK.
With their legs being shorter on one side, they roll down the hill if they try to go the other way around!

There are several different breeds of Haggis.
Clockwise, anticlockwise, up hill and down hill, rough coated and smooth, the greater and the lesser and the spicy and the natural haggis too

Least they can play rugby !! them from darn sarf definitely cannot or football come to that

Gotta have a square sausage while ur up there.

Ahhhhh, that would explain how they meet and therefore become inbred.
It all makes sense now! :grimacing:

(This thread is degenerating…)

Driving to Glasgow or Edinburgh and you would hardly know your in Scotland, it doesnt really start for me until i get to Perth

And then you phone the Samaritans? :open_mouth:

Nah, piece and serenity from there on up, anywhere south of Perth is tainted cos it’s closer to England

Far more civilised in Scotland. Less hustle and bustle. Friendlier the further north you go as well. Less traffic and plenty of great malt whisky. Stunning countryside with some magnificent views. No wonder so many English have moved north of the border.

Love going up there me. As others have said the central belt that is Glasgow/Edingbrugh is just like being in any major city in England. The Scotland you see on tourist adverts etc is when you get to Perth upwards. Stunning scenery everywhere you look, the A9 from Perth upto Inverness is just a picture postcard for just over 100 miles.
Only trouble is it can be monotonous to drive and there are no butty vans on it to get something to eat. The A9 from Inverness upto Thurso is a great road for driving on along the North East coast over the Cormarty Firth and Dornoch Firth, through Tain and up and down the arse nipping section that is Berriedale Braes
The North West side of the country is even better from Inverness upto Ullapool and upto Durness on the A835 and A837 the best driving roads in the UK for me scenery wise. Just don’t be surprised to have to stop for Wild deer and/or sheep in the roads
You may see about 3 other vehicles an hour up this side of the country and even less people. It’s as though you are on another planet compared to what most of us are used to seeing day in day out. I also think that Scotish drivers are some of the most courteous towards HGV’S. I’d go up there every week if I could.

Well I do,… only because I know it annoys you!

Anymore of that type of talk, and I’ll reveal what you told me when you were ■■■■■■ …(the ‘‘when you were ■■■■■■■■ bit not being Scotch-stereotypical btw)
