Used to be a lot of people with dogs in their cabs. Only come across one in two years.
How many of you have them

I got passed by a flatbed rigid on the M25 with a huskie looking out the passenger window.

What happend to cab mut of the month in the magazine ?
I used to have a Cairn Terrier in the cab with me years ago, only on medium distance trips etc. Still have a Cairn Terrier ( third in over 40 years ) but this one isn’t keen on vehicles.

Mate of mine used to take his dog with him, stopped one day in one of the less savoury areas on his route to go into the office where upon a couple of the local yoofs asked if he needed somebody to mind his truck while inside, my mate replied ‘no you are alright lads my dog is in the cab’ to which the yoof replied ‘can your dog put out fires’.
I expect as with many things in life…Health & Safety and Insurance guided company policy, along with whingers who drive, have put paid to the cab dog
Psychologically we are our own worst enemies
It can be a ruff job…
Fine if your an owner driver, not in a works/shared vehicle thank you. Dog hairs all over the passenger seat and bunk.
Must be barking mad!

Toddy2, that’s one of the gayest dogs I’ve ever seen. I can just imagine what you look like mincing down the street with it.

I used to have a dog in the cab, then she decided to stay at home and do the housework…good job she doesn’t read this site…lol
I believe that most companies that deal with foodstuffs will not allow dogs on site, can you imagine the furore if dog hairs get in the supplies and are then transported to the shop, I mean, they bloody well moan about tarantulas in spiders for Christ sake dog hairs can become airborn, can be transferred into food areas/warehouses and so not allowed on site. I love dogs and would feel a lot safer with my German shepherd on board, my we could even scare the illegals,m as most blacks don’t like dogs at the best of times, mine actually seeks them out if we are up the park, no officer, I didn’t train him that way, its just that a black guy happened to kick him one day, and he retaliated by ripping his nuts in two, from that day on he got the taste for them ha ha
