Having trouble with the hard hat
I take my old dog with me a couple of times a week,it’s not a problem normally,as she is good at keeping out of the way, but,it may be her age,she is getting a bit lax in this department anyway, she was seen by a jobsworth yesterday in a chemical plant I was delivering crane parts to.
So mammoet now do dog sitting
truckyboy:
I used to have a dog in the cab, then she decided to stay at home and do the housework…good job she doesn’t read this site…lolI believe that most companies that deal with foodstuffs will not allow dogs on site, can you imagine the furore if dog hairs get in the supplies and are then transported to the shop, I mean, they bloody well moan about tarantulas in spiders for Christ sake
dog hairs can become airborn, can be transferred into food areas/warehouses and so not allowed on site. I love dogs and would feel a lot safer with my German shepherd on board, my we could even scare the illegals,m as most blacks don’t like dogs at the best of times, mine actually seeks them out if we are up the park, no officer, I didn’t train him that way, its just that a black guy happened to kick him one day, and he retaliated by ripping his nuts in two, from that day on he got the taste for them ha ha
I wish I could get away with replying to this with one of my own,but no doubt it would be removed in 30 secs…
Obviously you can’t take cats in trucks, and they would not want to be in a truck ( or car for that matter) but out of interest, how many of you “manly” truckers own a cat?! Fess up…
cue the inevitable ■■■■■ cracks now??

Yawn, yawn, anyone who replies with the above mentioned is not a manly trucker and will be outed as a pure, big girls blouse… …and a ■■■■■ to boot.
we inherited this ginger ■■■■■…wild feral ■■■■■■ ■■■■■,took us a year to get it tame enough to come into the house to get fed…named it mr ginger, made it a kennel, then discovered about 6 months later it was a female…so its a cat with an identity crisis.it likes the attention, but will still claw the face off you if you raz it up, sometimes its like having 2 women…

I thought all ginger cats were toms ?
You can just see my old greyhound on the bunk here,
If I took the truck home, she would stand by it and wimper until I let her in, She so Loved going out in the truck,
Sadly gone to the Kennel in the sky
Here she is again, waiting to get in !!
When I worked as an agency driver I refused to take a ‘doggy’ truck out on several occasions. Owners seem to be blissfully unaware of the smell and the hairs.
In fact dog owners seem to be unaware of a lot of things - “Ahh - he’s a big softy. He won’t hurt you.” This about 4 stone of snarling, bare fanged alsatian/mastiff cross called Satan or Killer or some cuddly name like that. They don’t notice the smell, the hairs, the stains on the bunk or the scratches on the dash.
I remember, years ago, this driver had a miniature poodle. He (the driver) was built like a brick outhouse and this tiny dog was pretty comical to see as it jumped up to stand on his outstretched hand. Sadly for him, it had to go, after it got bored one day and chewed up all his PODs.

There was a woman driver out here drove for same company as me had a cat and 2 ferrets in the cab that hated each other and fought all the time.
Another driver had 2 small dogs and a litter of pups in cages in the top bunk he was trying to get rid of.

i do,little short haired black and white domestic,i would like a dog but too much responsibility, cats are very independent, put a cat flap in the kitchens back door and they do what they want, you can leave them to their own devices
no cats, but I used to have 2 dogs that I would have loved to take with me.

This is a common misconception. Ginger cats can be either male or female although ginger females are less common.
The genetics of ginger is explained in more detail in Tortoiseshell and Tri-Colour Cats (ginger is caused by the same gene as tortoiseshell), but this is a short version for those wanting a quick answer.
The ginger gene changes black pigment into a reddish pigment. The ginger gene is carried on the X chromosome. A normal male cat has XY genetic makeup so he only needs to inherit one ginger gene for him to be a ginger cat. A normal female is ■■ genetic makeup so she must inherit two ginger genes to be a ginger cat. If she inherits only one ginger gene, she will be tortoiseshell with some ginger areas and some black/brown areas.
The ginger gene is called a ■■■-linked gene because it is carried on a ■■■ chromosome.
Also, if you look closely, ginger cats have tabby markings though these may be faint or only visible on the face, tail and lower legs. They are also visible in the ginger areas of tortie cats. This is because the gene that turns off tabby to give solid colour cats does not work on the ginger colour.
Here’s one for the doges.

Probably a good thing you have upright exhaust on that Sandbatch pig. You would cover those white walls in black crap on start up
One of my dogs loves going in the car sits waiting like your dog to get in or if the door is open she gets in and doesn’t want to get out again.
