this company was yardleys transport in meanwood in leeds brian yeardleys is still going but they are in pontefract.

Eric…worked with me at yardleys…no longer with us so im yold…and the brick ■■■■■■■■■ …lol…would have bee cliff berry…once seen him grab Claben driver and dangle him over the dockside at newhaven docks…tried yo push in the queue gor loading bananas…happy days…
I remember Yardleys im sure they loaded axels outa Kirkstall forge and aluminium engine parts outa Yorkshire foundries in Hunslet

I knew your dad Sandy and Ivy. I visited your home on Acre Lane when my ol man, Ted Tunesi used to come over.. I was only about 10 at the time. I spent some good times as a passenger in the ol Foden, up and down the M1 and drop the trailers at Vauxhall. Mum (Pat) and Dad live down in Minehead now. All the best to the family. (Dad never did pay me for loading those boxes up!!)
