i believe yo yo startet at transaliance, did a week then went into hospital. Can you find anything out wheel nut? it would be good to know if he’s ok. I dont think he’s back at work yet though.
I will ask around, I had 4 months off earlier this year, we have a couple of blokes off on long term sick and one that will not return. It seems like a job for the senile and bewildered at the moment
I will ask the guy in the office but I have seen Bernards name on some paperwork this week.
I know of one ex GBE chap who was mentioned recently on here has just finished serious hospital treatment.
this is yoyo i had bowel cancer got over that then had liver cancer but back at work now at fly by nite if anythink els going free let me know
Can’t believe i stumbled on to this topic about P.D Taylors, i always used to remember seeing them in the 80s, and thinking what a superb livery. Never new they were from aldridge as they never had it on there lorries.
My dad drove an f88-290 for ward & smith of oadby leic on bricks an slabs in the 80s out of redland barrow, and on the road he always used to point out taylors smart livery.
Did Taylors have an F10 with the front grill painted yellow ? or did i dream it

Just found this site recently it was so good to see the pictures of My “uncle Peters” old left hand drive f10s and 12s some real childhood memories so good infact that i went out and bought a 1982 left hand drive f12 6x2 to restore as a tribute to the family regards Roy Taylor
Hi Roy, welcome to the forum mate, you can while away a few hours on here I can tell ya! Glad you brought this thread back to page1, some cracking pics. ay, took me back a bit. Wagsie did a great job putting them on, but think he had a bit of health trouble, although he did recover. But had other interests and things to do, so doesn’t post much now, still looks in though, so maybe you will light the spark again, so to speak, hope so anyway. Good luck with your project and keep in touch, some pics. of it along the way would be nice.
