la’rochelle and back twice a week,with microwave ovens…Anyway thanks

i believe yo yo startet at transaliance, did a week then went into hospital. Can you find anything out wheel nut? it would be good to know if he’s ok. I dont think he’s back at work yet though.Still not seen him to talk to, but I did a changeover in Calais on Thursday night and it was Yoyo who brought it in. It is a bit like that with us lot, you may not see someone for many months, and then spend 3 or 4 weeks together
Hi Wagsie, It would seem there were a few drivers like that about there at that time. I remember when I was running a few four wheelers up there in the '80’s I gave an old chap a few days casual on a flat. His second day was on a load of reinforcing mesh and he asked me if I had any chains and strechers. I said no I only had good ropes. On his return that evening he had three sets of the afore mentioned, which he said were his and he had collected from his house on the way to load that morning. His story of ownership was quite plausible but he said he now had no use for them and I could purchase them for a reasonable cash sum. A few weeks later he was at our yard doing a bit for another operator and guess what, my chains and strechers disappeared, along with my ropes!!!

I have’nt seen decka for a good couple of years i still keep in touch with him he’s got his own truck and plant now doing ok…I moved from up that way in
march this year,I live in wiltshire now not far from chippenham…How’s the old man have’nt seen him in maybe 15 years…Does he still live in Bridgnorth…

Well it’s been along time since i’ve been on here…Not much happened then!! Not been to well of late…Had a scare about a couple of months ago. But everything seems all ok now…had a mini stroke, nothing serious,Just a warning.!! No permanent damage sustained… just had to take it steady for awhile…And relax!!! So should be back to normal soon…Anyway lads…Chat soon…And keep up the good work…

Glad to hear your ok and coping with things… yeah! It was a little scarey…Me being only 52 coming 53 september And fit as a fiddle…It show’s, you never know…Well I’ll be slowing it down from now on!!!
