Do you think you are good in lorries?

Those were the wife’s guesses, I thought it was Lada, but the wife said not. A couple of the others look familiar, I am sure one will trundle up the road at some point.

maybe not in van version, but there should be still quite a few going somewhere in Poland (although I do not expect too much, this make was a synonim of unreliable vehicle  )

On the basis of your clue,Orys-I think 14 is a Wartburg.

Eh, no. Wartburgs and Trabants were very reliable. Primitive, but reliable. My uncle was running a small garage all his life and he claims that these two cars + Tatra cars, which though were for elite, not for ordinary folks, were the most reliable cars from the eastern block.

We had one Trabant in our family for 17 years and when we sold it it was 26 yo and it done well over 500 000 kms, never any major problems with it…

But I can give you another clue: the manufacturer of the vehicle nr 14 now owns FSO factory in Warszawa…

So, Zaporozhets!

ZAZ or Daewoo then… don’t say Rover please, then again it could be a Polski Fiat come to think of it

Could 8 be a Star,possibly?

Sir +:
So, Zaporozhets!

Hm… You thinking good way  But drew is closer: the company is ZAZ. So what’s the car?

8 is not a star. (no pun intended :stuck_out_tongue:)

Tavrija (Таврія) :stuck_out_tongue:

But OK, I give you a point for that

Have to say that Tavrija is indeed very similar to Lada Samara:

but it is not the same car

26 might be a Dacia? And 12 is some E. European variant of the Simca.

No, it’s not Dacia. And yes, it’s Simca, although I never heard about any EE versions of them…

Ok, 26 also reminds me of an FSO Polonez!

There is NO FSO POLONEZ here

Tip: There is more car makes than FSO, Skoda, Lada and Dacia (and ZAZ Tavrija, as it’s solved already) in EE

It’s becomming funny, as you all struggle with that picture while due a fault on my side it’s just obvious what car it is

slightly off topic but thought you might like to see the vosa distractor thats sitting in our yard
