Surely you jest?
So it’s printed on finest quality paper and edited by world leading experts on a range of never-before-seen classic lorries?
With a range of articles from a range of restorers not just focusing on the big open chequebook boys (HC - you too…)
No - thought not…

I bought one in Gorleston yesterday and it was £4.20.
That’ll be the end of that magazine then.
How did you manage that haddy you can see mine was £6.95 what month have you bought?
i am sick of this country.they all seem to jump on the bandwagon and put the prices up !!
Magazines are a rip off and have been for a lot of years including the owners of this forums attempts.
I bought commercial motor every week for over 20 years, as it got thinner and thinner with transport content and was filled with adverts, van tests and bought in copy.

For the last hour or so I’ve been trying to post the front page of my copy but have had no luck, too big and I don’t know how to reduce the size, but I can assure you £4.20 is the price. Oh and it was the September issue same as yours. Regards Haddy
I used to buy the vintage mags but when I found the TN site I packed in buying them, they had become crap anyway!!! Sooner buy a nice bottle of Red each month and it does me more good!!! But who needs to buy the mags when you can get “chapter and verse” usually straight from the “horses mouth”!!! Much more interesting plus you can get “the craic” going direct with the poster, great!! Cheers lads Bewick.
The £4:20 price tag is correct on mine but I subscribe, surely the price from shop bought magazines can’t have such a large increase, I know you do save over twelve months when subscribing to buying from retailers but that price just isn’t justified, I was thinking £4:20 an issue was getting too much for what you get there is no way I would pay more now. Time to stop CVC I think. Franky.
I have paid £4.20 for the last few months but has you can see from the cover I have posted it definatly says £6.95.The only thing I can think of is there has been a misprint on some of the issues.I have emailed the editor with my veiws on this so I will let you know if he gets back to me otherwise I will be doing what Bewick does and buy a bottle then again I may still do that anyway cheers( hic)
Re Sept edition of C&VC mag, I got a reply to my email today from Phil Weedon editorial director of Kelsey Publishing and he states that it should have had another mag with it as a promotional pack thats why its £6.95 so into W H Smith tomorrow to have it out with them.
I’ve got most issues of C.V.C.from around 1997 to 2006.Free to anyone who wants them.

Are you sure they didn’t charge you for some half price Toblerone and a packet of Haribos? I had a scan through and it’s a load of crap once again this month. At least a third of it must be ads with I hate to say, predictable PD on a Roll features, that dreaded you know what and the increasing amount of “seen in a foreign country 20 years ago and it was rotting away even then…”
Mine was £4.20. No extra magazine, bought from independant newsagents.

That’s fine John, if you wanted another magazine with it. I wonder what it is, one of their other titles like Practical Poultry perhaps?
Does anyone find the readers memories a load of waffle? You need to jam matchsticks in your eyelids in order to stay awake to get to the last paragraph when you read “this waste of paper has been edited due to lack of space…”
