Thinking through the company attitude I’d say no.
I work for a small family firm but it feels them and us. The owners and office staff are desk jockeys and not drivers so there for don’t understand what is being asked of us. We’ve said about them coming out to see the job and get their licence and they say they are too scared of a rigid let alone artics. The only worry they have is how much profit they are making, to pay for their fancy cars, not our safety or health. Our trailers are serviced but not maintained, and cabs are only repaired in time for the MOT. We try talking to them and get abuse for interfering. Drivers are only staying due to lack of alternatives.
