I drove two for mrken in the late 80s and 90s a x reg Maersk painted one with a 350 ■■■■■■■ and a 13 speed road ranger went like a shxt of a shovel but need a anchor to stop it and a A reg Maersk colour 320 with a nine speed both pulled like trains but could never keep up with Kenny when he had his F89 and was still on the road As much as I moan about him on here he was a master to follow and could really make that 89 sing

SUR 57W sorry i didn’t take these pics and if anyone objects I will remove them.
I know a bloke who used to run a Transconti with a similar cab conversion to this one, his was also blue and if I remember correctly had windows in the roof the same as a Kenworth Aerodyne, the guy is called Dereck and also known as Shwadi Waddi. The wagon in question also got the cab burnt out by vandals when it was parked up in Westhoughton. There was a young lad who was going to restore it as the cab shell was ok, but I dont know how far he got with it. Last time I saw it, it was back in 2001 in Universal Body Repairs in Kearsley with a bare cab shell and one of the fitters said the guy had run out of dosh to spend on it. It could still be there tucked in the corner, you never know.
