I have no idea where the place is, I don’t need to as I don’t deliver there, but if I did I wouldn’t be on here asking, especially if I been to the area before. My ignorance of what exactly? That you can’t be arsed to work out a route for yourself maybe, unwilling or unable, either way it just shows how lazy/useless some drivers get.

On a slight tangent is the A420 still shut just north of Swindon as it was a few weeks ago?
A420 at Shrivenham is open.They finished the work a week early.

Morrisons has gone now, as has the lay bye with a snack wagon. B& Q is right by the site of said lay bye and is plastered with B&Q/ DHL livery on a multi tint of blue cladding. If you miss the dedicated turning before the roundabout you can still get to it, you just look a bit silly 
so I’m told.
Limited parking behind the ■■■■■■■■ pub/Fire station on Highworth rd in Stratton.

To the drivers who were helpful and constructive I thank you. To the less than constructive drivers who have posted somewhat rather insulting comments thank you also for taking up time posting. Everyone is entitled to an opinion however next time I want the opinion’s of idiots I know where to find YOU!
Again thankyou for the directions and info posted. The reason I asked is there was no other drivers in yard at 0100 and I see trucknet as a big yard. As with any yards there are the helpful, friendly drivers whom I would get the drinks in for. And the other clowns whom I wouldn’t.
The only “idiot” here is yourself by being too lazy and/or thick to use any of the 1000s of tools available at your fingertips. The “newbie” bit of your name says it all really; typical modern day driver that doesn’t know one end of a truck from the other.
Surely by using this forum, he IS using one of the 1000s of tools available to him?

Thanks for correcting my spelling. Just a quick note generally speaking grammatically try to avoid using the word AND to start a sentence. Personally speaking I would have used YOU WILL instead of YOU’LL. It reads better! Just saying with you correcting my spelling it is commendable.
The speed cameras on the A420 do work by the way so be careful.
I think there is a big new lay-by outside the B&Q to park up, but don’t park in the industrial estate opposite you will get a ticket, It has signs saying on the way in, just a word of warning.

Your spelling was poor, your grammar is fine, your punctuation could do with some work. You’re welcome.
I disagree with your assessment. I believe my spelling is more than sufficient, however odd mistakes are made due to size of keyboard on S4. An example of this would be the O instead of I in earlier. My grammar tends to be weakest of all 3. I put that down to the sub-standard education I received in English in the 1970’s school system Finally dreaded punctuation. One presumes you don’t care for the one space after a comma and 2 spaces after a full stop as reading your text can be somewhat difficult at times, or maybe its just the fact you talk bilge?
All in all not a bad run. It turns out A420 route took 40 minutes longer but was more enjoyable - roundabouts etc breaking up the drive. Distance wise A420 route was also nearly 10 miles further. Back on usual stuff later. Thanks again for replies. End of thread one hopes.

No camaradie nowadays with fellow drivers.
He got vague instructions in the early hours of the morning and came on TN to clarify the route.

I manage quite well round Felixstowe thankyou for your concern. If I don’t know I ask. If a driver asks me I always try to help where I can. As I mentioned earlier in a post there were no other drivers in yard to ask for directions so didn’t see the problem in asking on here. On the whole the majority of answers have been imformative and helpful with 1 or 2 drivers not being so helpful. I am not a newbie the term newbie was used because at the time I had just relocated to Norfolk. However some would argue and rightly so that I am.still a newbie compared them. I was also educated in the school system of the 1970’s so I don’t really see the relevance of that.
My God it has finally clicked. You are one of those 70’s kids who was knocked hell out of whilst bullying was still rife. I am so sorry that the bullying you received is still affecting your life.
