I expect we will hear very soon as it’s now about 1 hour after the test finish time
Hi everyone, I passed with 5 minors 1 for gears, 2 for awareness and planning, 1 for meeting traffic and 1 for move off control.
Im so happy its a great feeling when you hear those magic words. Had a nice route as well, roads that I had gone along lots when doing my training so knew where the tight turns etc where.
Thanks to everyone for there good luck wishes and to those who have helped me along the way.
And a massive thanks to A1 training group in Birmingham, especially to Kev my instructor who is good at his job and a really nice bloke aswell. Hopefully got my cpc mod 4 test on Friday just waiting for the phone call to confirm.

Just got the phone call and they have said 21st june, when I was at the test centre they said they should have spaces on friday, I cant seam to check it online and I want to get it done bit disapointed now dont really want to wait that long.

If you had the C1 on your licence on 10/09/2009 then yes - if not, no
I didnt think so, oh well sent my cv off to a few companies today for van driving jobs, hoping to get on somewhere that has class 2 as well in the hope when someone is on holiday or something I may get the chance to step up lol anything is better than the dole though.

easy to check - have a look on your photocard - it tells you what you are entitiled to drive

I cant have just sent it off to DVLA to get it updated with class C, if it helps I passed my test in may 2004. Do you have to apply for C1 provisional or does it come on automatic. I cant remember if there was a C1 box to tick on the D2 application form.
If you do have to apply then I don’t think I will have it on there because class C was the first LGV entitlement I applied for.

Passing C automatically gives you C1
I do hope your licence comes back in time from DVLA so you can take the Module 4 test as the test cannot be taken without it !!!

NO - those that passed the car test after 1997 have to apply for the C1 upgrade provisional entitlement
Having the provisional will not allow a driver to drive C1s unless they comply to the rules that cover learner drivers

DVLA are always quick…well sometimes… not always… most of the time… unless busy…
