Definitely got Tuesday in my sights now. No stopping me. Car hired and b&b booked. Got those words ‘Congratulations I am pleased to tell you that you have passed’ firmly in my head.
Can’t wait now. It’s amazing what a few days turning it over in my head has done.

Normally do the trunking runs for Dbc white lorry with red liverery n pictures of food and usually out after dark so I don’t see anyone !

Well today has been a day of ups and downs.
Reverse went ok although I did require a shunt to straighten it up into the ‘garage’.
Then we went out on the road. I had what could possibly be called the worst hours driving in my entire driving career. Stalled it once. Made a complete mess of the gear changes at another point. Got 2 for hesitation although not convinced they were fair marks.
We got back to the test centre and did the coupling exercise. In first time. Result !!
He gets back in the cab. Tots up the marks and…
I am convinced he needs his head testing cos he said those words that I have been waiting for.
I am pleased to tell you that you have passed.
Disbelief is not even close to the image on my face.
But the certificate is in my hand to prove it.
Now it’s sunk in, I am literally grinning with joy and jubilation.
Still can’t believe it. And 9 minors just for the record.
Just need to do some skill transfer and have half a day on an artic reversing and coupling.

Well done Dean. I know what you mean about the hesitation marks. I would have only got one down if I’d have been marking. But it doesn’t matter. You got the result - enjoy that great feeling.
