Well done Dean, it really is worth all the effort. If it’s any encouragement for the future it looks like I’ve got my first shot at some weekend work just a week after passing! It can be done so keep positive!

Got license back today a day short of 2 weeks from examiner sending it off.
Shame it still has the points on (they are due to be removed 2nd week January).
Guess I will have to send it back again in January. Oh well.
It’s real. I really have a CE license. Still can’t quite believe it.

Well I have taken the plunge and booked my Class 1 training. Spoke to Peter today and am booked onto the Guaranteed Pass Scheme.
As many of you know Peter is recovering from his operation and will be back to work in October so I will be taking the first course on offer after he returns - October 2nd with 1st and hopefully only test on 6th.
I had my reservations for training with Wag and Drag but believe that Peter will give me the best broad training to cope with driving articulated vehicles no matter where the articulation point is.
I will take up a half day of local training to convert my knowledge to Artic reversing and coupling.
I hope that this will be a success for Peter and his School.
So 6 weeks and counting.

Good luck to both of you i start my CE tomorrow at 12 pm 4 half days then test 23rd at 830 am so no training test day (glad kids are off school no mad mums on the school run eh ) and i wish peter all the best with his guarranteed passs venture and hope he is regestered to do LVP as im sure that this is a better option than i have been given by on my funded training its cost them the earth now 
although i did warn them that i didnt want the trainer i was given … its been a night mare just getting the dates off them alone …then date changes ect ect and the list goes on … should all have been over with by july … It just goes to show that you cant beat a reputable Trainer who can offer this with confidance Well done peter … All the best matey …
