Unless I’ve missed something the OP hasn’t attacked anyone, he expressed some dismay at some of the replies in another thread, it’s hardly his fault if other less polite people jump on the bandwagon

So not every post has been a personal attack, however the theme of the thread is. Whether that was intended or not is irrelevant, it happened, everyone has now had a chance to get it off their chests and it’s run it’s course, let’s agree to disagree and put it to bed for the sake of all of our sanity.
Thing is NMM, it’s generated 6 pages, been quite entertaining, and shows an interesting insight into aspects of human nature…it also shows just how serious some actually take an internet forum, the same way as some teenagers take Facebook and the like as an essential part of their lives.
I don’t get it myself, ok I’m admittedlly maybe the first to jump if some member has a pop at me on here, that’s just the way I am (and that side of my nature has got me into a lot of bother in the past in REAL life, )…but I still know how to seperate the two, ie, real life from some blokes moaning on a forum. …where as apparentlly some on here confuse the two.
Like I said I have actually had threats off some cretins on here AND… backed up with p.ms .(which I have not even been arsed to open)…
I mean, why would you threaten some stranger who has no real bearing on your life ffs.
As I say, I find it fascinating and deffo ■■■■ amusing.
I may even open those pm.s today just for the laugh , but seriously mate, I’m amazed that some with such unbalanced temperaments are allowed to be in charge of a potential carnage implement weighing 44 tonnes.
I agree with you robroy, as you can see from my continued presence, I like these clear the air threads, I think they allow a bit of a pressure release, everyone gets a chance to have a say and put their point across. However they can get a bit repetitive as posts focus on one aspect of the topic.
I also believe that threads like this belong on the main page, they get more attention here than in the feedback forum and more members get to read and understand the way it works.
