Its so pointless. Im taking a pillow tomorrow.
Its funny listening to the ■■■■ sat in the corner giving it the big i am though.

I thought ours was a bit better this time,did all about tankers,transporters,walking floors etc,I found it quite interesting to,be honest,with redundancies,transfers,gave me a bit of a insight into what I might be doing next.

i spent an hour being shown how to tie a dolly - I can do them in my sleep - the instructor had obviously not tied many himself. I’ve been shown how to operate a pump truck. I spent a day learning adverse driving conditions from a woman who’d never drove anything larger than a transit. I was expecting to learn a little bit I didn’t know, but to be honest the quality of the courses has been pathetic. I wouldn’t mind, but I have to pay myself, not to mention losing a day’s pay…

course content is crap.
trainer is great.
From the reports on this and other sites it becomes obvious that the majority who have been LGV drivers for over 5 years get little or no new info fron the general dcpc classroom courses
Those doing the training and the providers will obviously say different to that
Some trainers realise that the group of 12+ drivers they have in front of them are likely to learn little or nothing new so make the 7 hours as much fun as they can without going too far from the dcpc remit in case they get reported on
Fair play to such trainers because they know this is a dumb thing for the EU to introduce in the way that it is
I spent a whole afternoon learning what the categories at the bottom of a driving licence mean, invalid carriage, lawn mower, moped sort of thing.

ROG we have jad this conversation on many occassion. The drivers are being booked or are being sold the wrong courses.
Also please please please stop booking with companies that do not use their own trainers.
A lot of accredited companies are booking courses but have no instructors of their own so they use freelance trainers. this means your price rockets. Ask the question on booking and ask the trainer.
If you direct to the trainer your course will be cheaper
Doing it in one hit is probably not the best thing to do. I feel for the trainer, he stands there watching people fall asleep, looking out the window, talking amongst themselves and saying ‘can we go home yet?’ Job morale must be nil.

It truly is a boring, pointless load of ■■■■■■■■■ My last 7 hrs was done by a ex para, ex traffic copper, worked for the same super dupper super market for the last 178 years and was younger than me. ■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■■.
yesterday booked my last 7 hours CPC,was paid 50 pound.ask this school about what will be -he said -about driving hours all 7 hours.really driving hours can taked 2 hours.i think will be burring day.but anyway must seating this 7 hours
