JeremyYes Jeremy i had in fact just dropped mappo of they had already craned his truck on board earlier in the day and he was boarding as a foot passengerfor the night sailing, cheers Buzzer.

short walk:
Well Buzzer C789 BPO in all her glory, just perfect livery, very business like and no horrible modern day bling. Wouldn’t the board consider phasing it back in on todays fleet? Would go down a treat I reckon. By the way is she still about or scrapped after her Hot to trot days?
Well mate i have to agree about the colour scheme but its all down to finances today as i think it cost about £1500 to paint her in 1976 when new so would be a whole lot more today,As for where she is now i have no idea but if became available we would definitely have to open the ■■■■■ strings up,The other thing is some one else copied that paint scheme but dont know if any one is still using it today, cheers Buzzer.
Heres a pic of the avenue in Southampton, its a bit different today cheeres Buzzer.

Here’s another old one for you outside Dock gate 4 I’d say?Regards Pat
Matter of interest that loco was restored to working order and is still running today.
Called at the yard today after getting supplies for the horses to deliver bread pudding for trevor, cheers Buzzer.
Heres another pic of Spring Road marathon and when you look it was pretty basic, with a Jameson trailer, cheers Buzzer.
Another local firm i have not seen mentioned on TNUK hailing from near by Whiteparish. cheers Buzzer.

Hi John I put that pic of the Springroad Marathon onto the Southampton Thread a while ago, it was given to me by Paddy Keoghan he was driving it and that is his son Aaron in the passenger seat
Here’s another he gave me!
Regards Pat
Heres one of the docks in Southampton, loaded tons of outspan oranges out of the fruit berths 101 to 105 but now its all dedicated to cruise ships, cheers Buzzer.
Sign of the times aye Buzzer, progress it’s called, still the cruise ship
boom hasn’t,t done you any harm has it mate.
Ainacs…just love that 2nd photo you put on Pat.
Heres a 1971 volvo F86 with Frigoscandia trailer, the first tractor unit i bought was a Mamoth Minor twinsteer which was also pulling for Frigoscandia and the guy i bought it of came from Gillingham in dorset,he went every where in it with no sleeper cab but in those days we did, cheers Buzzer.

I think I saw it over at C Morgan and Sons, Waltham Chase when I was there for spares for my AEC Mercury and there was a twinsteer with the middle axle removed and also had a sleeper conversion!!!
Regards Pat

Hi Pat sounds right as i removed the second axle and i had two blokes from a crash repair workshop put the sleeper on over a weekend, bit hairy though as once the back was cut out they said we dont think we can do this but they did and i painted it by hand the following week as had to go to work on monday, cheers John.
Charlie i cant remember the chaos name but from memory he was well over six foot i dont know how he managed to sleep in it,i think he replaced the AEC with a second hand nearly new F88,cheers John.
