Evening Buzzer

Well we have had a dose of the white stuff this weekend, supposed to be thawing out now but still feels cold and very icy so could be an interesting ride to work in the morning.
Not an easy job feeding up as we struggled to find the troughs in the snow, and one bunch of sheep in their infinite wisdom decided to make their way up to the edge of the fell. So armed with two Jack Russells we set off to find them, it was hard work as the quad bike wouldn’t travel so it was all on foot but we did find them and chased them down into a meadow lower down. We have also been busy carrying water as the pipes were frozen in the sheds, but hey ho such is the life of a farmer roll on spring.

Cheers Wrighty.

I cannot remember the snow capped range showing once out of the tunnel ,it used to be for me out of the tunnel immediately a layby ,with either AS24 or IDS pumps ,and you would be looking over down to MODANE then big licks to get as far as possible if it was SATURDAY NIGHT and push on as far as you dare after 10.probly RIEMS…

Its that Chris Rea time of year, Buzzer

Evening Buzzer

Well that was a week from hell, got to a site in Stoke on Monday morning to tip concrete flooring only to be told it was too windy for the crane to operate so come back at 8 am Tuesday, Backed in on Tues morning and the ground gave way leaving me stuck against a concrete retaining wall. Had to sit there until 8am Wed when a 150t crane arrived to tip me, then with the help of a tractor I got out at 11am so not a very productive end to the year lets hope for a better start to 2023.

So I would like to wish you and all the contributors and readers of this thread a happy Christmas and a prosperous New year, lets hope 2023 is a good year.

All the best Wrighty.
