Ooh! Davies FH on South Today about a report of pollution in Horsham!
Funny you should notice that, i saw it as well but all our motors a green. Well actually there blue and white but well spotted gazzer all i saw was the DIT on the trailer and then it was gone, what you call a cameo roll.
mappo:
That Scanny E42OAD used to be mine…well not really mine, it was Buzzers but i drove it.Cracking motor.
Your right there Mappo i had two of those E42 and F725 long wheelbase on air and they were the last of the 142’s Peter Gilder bought them out of Germany from a company who bought the last 30 stock before the 143 came out they even had 143 gear sticks. we then bought F43 new over here but was only 3.4 wheelbase a 143 but not the same comfort even though it was on air it used to kick you in the back on a rough road.

J.F.G.O,P. S.M.M.
Kwoz any body who’s known you could hardly forget the experience, you were so full of wit and charm with a pleasurable smile always on you face always laughing, never moaning about the job or what you got paid for it. No kwoz i think almost every body enjoyed being around you, except possibley Gooj, so dont ever think that you are forgotten. PS. you and yours still aint bin round for that cot yet.
J.F.G.P.O cant do S.M.M as N.F.M.L is more fitting today as i paid it all to you lot.
Heres one of Horry takin a dive into " Lake Traniceinto " which is near Perugia where we used to deliver loads of chocolate goods for Rowntree Mcintosh and later for Nestle when they took them over.
Buzzer:
When the sun goes down, should think this is in Greece but not sure, nice pic though.
I would have said on the dock at kiato John although there i do remember a pic posted well back of some of the scanias on the dock at split so maybe it’s from there.
Just out of interest do do known where the Tarts 88 ended up?. I know you sold it Paul Perris from Newbury way who subbed for C&B haulage but I was told he packed up a few years ago.
Hi neil your right i did sell the F88 to paul from Newbury and he ran it for quite a while , i think he had some heart promblems or some thing and i believe they took his licence of him but could not confirm that. He used to call into Lorraines and walk over to our yard and told me one day im’e gonna buy that motor of you, any way he had some sort of inheritance left him he paid what i asked and she had to go.Dont know where it is now but i suspect some one still has it because it was in pretty good order so if any one knows the where abouts of VTA 872 S let us know.
