Hi neil your right i did sell the F88 to paul from Newbury and he ran it for quite a while , i think he had some heart promblems or some thing and i believe they took his licence of him but could not confirm that. He used to call into Lorraines and walk over to our yard and told me one day im’e gonna buy that motor of you, any way he had some sort of inheritance left him he paid what i asked and she had to go.Dont know where it is now but i suspect some one still has it because it was in pretty good order so if any one knows the where abouts of VTA 872 S let us know.

Hi all if you have been following drivers wives thread by Fergie you will know Liz his wife and Angie of R&A fame are doing a charity run for " The Rowans Hospice " a worthy cause indeed.Any way i proposed we had a prize draw at the august bash to which i will give two bottles of scotch, one is Glenmorangie 10 year mature plus the 10 i have had it in the cupboard to start the ball rolling, so if any of you kind souls can find it in your heart to donate a decent prize no matter how small we can get this idea up and running. Any body who has watched someone close to them in there last days will know what great support the people at the " Rowans Trust " provide. So please be generouse if you can, and we will see where this goes, regards Buzzer.
PS. you can send notification of your prize gift in a PM if you wish to remain anonamous, or just declare it on this thread.

A young Horry shunting in our old yard.

He’s not on holiday, well he is really if he works for us getting sent to all different european destinations with plenty of time for a beer and good food and the sun shines where they go not like here. I think my grass is going rusty.
On another note i am overwhelmed with the generosity of you lot ■■■■■■■ forward with a bottle donation for the proposed draw at the August bash ( i dont think ) I dont care if its a bottle of source or shampoo just get in the spirit of the thing as its for a well worth cause. The Rowans Hospice.

I wouldn,t worry too much Buzzer, as you say a very worthy cause, so i,m certain that on the day
there will be loads of donations of one thing or the other for the auction and loadsa money will be raised
for Liz and Angies charity run.

Tone i have not had much of a response so far so got me fingers crossed, i dont care what it is as long as it comes in a bottle. Corse we got to have an auctioneer of some sort and i don’t know who is best placed for that job, i think we ought to throw that one open for debate, lets see what happens.

You’re wicked J.D…but the truth must be told…
He should donate an extra £2.00 for being so ugly…what ever happens, don’t let him win the whisky…he’d be dangerous…

Hmmm, someone got a bottle of Terry’s Brandy last year, just for being a good old mate. Maybe I should repeat the excercise this year an donate a similar bottle?

Gazzer was that a tentative offer or are you just teasing us , all bottle donations for the auction welcome dont care whats in it.We still have an open book on who should be the auctioneer on the day, perhaps we should throw that open to the bidding as well and the person who donates the most to " The Rowans Hospice " cause gets to conduct proceedings on the day. Open to surgestions on that one.regards Buzzer.

One litre of Soberano purchased for the donating, if you don’t want it my Aunt will have it to put in the fruit cake she makes me! Yummmm!
