If i remember they used to load them water melons from Greece straight on the floor and they only went into Italy with little damage and it just about paid for the ferry.

Not me Buzzer, never looked on the pessimistic side of life. In any part of transport there are times for dodgy goings on, just to get the job done. Many of us on here appreciate that but some of todays incumbents are either prevented or discouraged from doing such things.
Who is this laying down on the job, dont look like he wants to move either. Horry knows but does any body else.

Have to tell you mate Gogger passed on some time back and Colin Berry i think works for Pulleyn’s. the lad that went to Portugal was Mat Newman he’s left us now got married and lives and workes in Spain.

I dont thik there was a bird there tone but he was pretty freindly with Shirly and i would’nt put any thing past him.

Morning yes that’s correct. Sadly Colin passed away some time back now. Buzzer is probably thinking of Colin Darvill.

Not sure mate, I did not see him again after he left us. As I say, he was a real good bloke. Used to to make me laugh - coffee in our rest room comprised of three heaped spoons of nescafe, very little water and at least three Fortunas!
Dont know where this was taken but was before we had the sides of the frigo’s signwritten which i think was 1992.
