Dale farm travellers

harry:
The magic hour is aproaching.

Well, the magic hour has come and gone and those “poor ,lovable, misunderstood, misrepresented, much put upon, Oirish tinker fellas” have got a (zb)ing reprieve!!!..god bless em :smiling_imp:

If they get away with this will it set a precedent?? Will the flood gates open and the little tinkers have Carte Blanche to set up site where ever and when ever they like■■?.. come to think of it they all ready do!! :open_mouth:

Roll on Friday, The swampy’s may have had a chance to have a wash, maybe some of the tinker fellas might have already sold some of them into slavery!!

Put the fire hoses on over the whole site for 24 hours prior to round 2, that should dampen the enthusiasm of some of their “supporters”!!

billybigrig:

bobbya:
should we start a fund for them let me know what you think, cheers.

:unamused: Well we’ve been “donating” diesel to em for long enough I think :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

Wheel Nut:
They are not travelers when they live on a permanent campsite, they are a bunch of semi illiterate scumbags who don’t pay anything in, but take everything out of the system.

And that is the nicest thing I can think to say about them!

+1 ^^^^

thetourist:
I herd on the radio that they just want to live quietly and run there business’s. Great let the tax man go over there books and the one’s paying there way can stay. Problem sorted no one left.

+1 ^^^^

+1 to all of the above.

I’m with the tree huggers on this one & have just got a quote from a travelling builder to have my arm cemented into a forty gallon drum. Seems reasonable ,he wants to take me down to the cash machine for payment up front before he can start work on the project ;loose tiles on my roof included in the price. Just hope it don’t rain in the next 6 months…- hang on , I will have to have my loo extended to accommodate the drum. He can probably attache some castor’s to it,maybe. Have you got any ideas how to help the oppressed minority in their noble cause? like getting your neck padlocked to a fence, or something?
On a serious note the menfolk have kept their camera-shy profiles out of the spotlight & left it to their reliable human shields -women, children & anarchists ,etc.

At the moment they are in one place and can be kept an eye on to a certain extent but the idea is to scatter them - does that make sense to anyone?

its not as if they are getting rid of all of them - about half I think - so only half a job?

Perhaps its me but spending all that money to ‘put things right’ does not make sense let alone common sense - must be me…

half of em have empty houses in ireland

yes, fully. they have already bought 2 more fields that they are trying to get planning on, these property developers need stopping

ROG:

How would you like that “one place” as you say, to be at the bottom of your garden then Rog■■? :unamused:

A couple of hundred ■■■■■■, plus assorted knackered pick ups and transits, caravans and barking daaggs, all set up camp,ILLEGALLY, at the bottom of YOUR garden or at the end of YOUR street!!..would that be ok for you?? Would you then be saying “Well of course it makes sense to keep them all in one place”!!! :unamused:

I don’t think the ‘containment’ theory stands up. They are travellers…

Has anyone noticed how it has become quite trendy to like Travellers?

I guess when Tamara and Tarquin made ‘My big fat gypsy wedding’ nobody stole or offered to buy twenty quids worth of fuel from the Crews Truck…

If all these toffs like Travellers so much why don’t they put them up?

I do see your point and if the whole camp was going then it would seem to make sense but does getting rid of about half the camp solve the issues?

ROG:
‘…At the moment they are in one place … but the idea is to scatter them - does that make sense to anyone…?’

O’ carse it makes sense now …for sure it worked at Hiroshima

ROG:
…but does getting rid of about half the camp solve the issues?

     …Rog you numbnuts, have you read or seen ANY of the news reports about that place■■?

The HALF that you are refering to and all the fuss is about is the ILLEGAL half.

The other part, although equally unwanted by the local residents is in fact a LEGAL site. Gedditt■■?

‘…The other part, although equally unwanted by the local residents …’

I’m not currently local to a ■■■■■ site but equally, I don’t want them disrespecting or ripping the pee out of my ‘civilised’ nation from whichever place they so loyally but venomously speak on behalf of.

Their ‘leaders’ are clearly not respecting our social way of living in any way other than we are their meal ticket - whilst they are busy demanding this, that and the udder from our (overly?) liberal softness.

Further patronising feral life anywhere in this country is no longer funny; if we wanted that we’d have voted for *_______ (insert name of favourite comedian here).

 Seriously, I’m just back from the opening of Munich Oktoberfest and visited Dachau last Sunday: The poor souls - including ■■■■■■, that perished under that regime weren’t given a break, but these wannabee leprechauns have had plenty.

Thus, and in line with political correctness rightly demanded of us, I do not advocate exterminating or incarcerating them, etc, but reckon that applying the law at national level, with appropriate support given from the EU is reasonable.

EXACTLY !!

Reference was made to having them there in the first place - any of them - so whether legal or illegal makes no odds to those that do not want them at all

Will getting rid of the illegal ones make life easier for other residents in that area? - I doubt it so either do a proper job of removing them all or not bother

Did anyone notice the fat bird with the irish accent say…" we are travellers we will not be moved",
A bit contradictory dont you think.?

Who’s going to have a small wager with me. I reckon they’ll somehow swing it and up end being allowed to stay. The govt/EU/whoever haven’t got the balls to bulldoze the place and there’s no way they’ll leave without force. 100% GAR ! :smiling_imp:

Maybe ‘…not moved…’ but they can certainly be stirred at three (or eleven?) in the morning with a cheery, ‘top-o-the-marnin’ toot-toot.

Where exactly is this place

Near Basildon.

Cheers, bud: are you in planning?

Edited to add that, after some research, the site below identifies it on a map adjacent to Oak Road, north of the A127 with Basildon, Mayflower Retail Park to the south:
