Calm down dear.
A few years ago, down the road from me the lease had expired on a few shops which were going to be demolished, within hours the ■■■■■■ had moved in with their caravans etc, within days the place was a tip, same story up the road from there not so long ago, gyppos moved in - days later the whole road was covered in ■■■■, empty gas bottles lobbed everywhere.
If you’ve ever had the misfortune to live near some of these gits, you’d know that they’re bloody horrible!

I geniunely hate to sound prejudiced, but I can’t stand the site of these people. Even when I was a youngster I never liked the look of them and never trusted them.
Maybe I’m generalising, but certainly, I have made a point down the years of never parking up at night anywhere these people.
God forgive me, but no matter where they are in the British isles - travellers, gypsies, tinkers - they are like aliens who just don’t seem to belong, or want to belong, anywhere! They don’t have a good image at all, but that’s possibly because people don’t understand anything about them due to their enclosed “communities”.

You obviously have never had the thieving scumbags drop anchor near where you live bobby.
When they moved on to a piece of land near me, I had my wrought iron gate nicked for scrap, my caravan nicked, and my diesel tank emptied. I reported it to the cops who just laughed at me, and told me I should not have parked the truck up with a full tank.
NO! deport them back to where they came from!
i am sorry to say but the irish travellers i would not trust what so ever, and those at dale farm are irish!!
if you are talking about genuine roma gypsies these are totally different people, the two do not mix.
when i was at school i had a class mate who was roma. his parents where customers of my father(who ran the local garage) they lived on a private caravan site, they paid there way, had their own business and i never ever heard of them being in trouble with the police.
i was invited to and went to a christening party at a local site where i use to live to 3 yrs ago, that was another roma family that could trace their family back nearly 400 hundred years so i don’t agree with what someone said in another post that they are all alien!!
there are good and bad in all different groups be it black, white,brown,yellow or gypsie the trouble is you only ever hear about the bad because that makes news and the good don’t. just because someone lives in a caravan don’t tar them all with the same brush.
as for dale farm the lagal process has run its coarse and they have lost so they must go, now the only problem is they aren’t all in one place now, going to be alot harder for the police to keep an eye on them. we are just going to have to see what the ramifications of what that will bring for the local commuity

I agree, get that fund started now! If they like to be on that site so much the fund can be used to build a 30ft fence around the site with razor wire on top to keep them in!!! That will stop them nicking my heating oil and fly-tipping rubbish on my drive!

You’ve all probably noticed that the you never see the males of Dale Farm on camera. They leave it all to the women & kids to do the talking. The reason they give is that if they are recognised on telly they won’t be able to get work! Maybe is because they will be matched to images on security cameras while they are at work. I had an unloading add/ there once; a mega-cube curtainsider I picked up at FX full of soft furniture from CZ . I was met by a posse of transits who grabbed what was theirs & roared off to the markets. That side of it was great ,they were polite & friendly & a lady offered me a cup of tea from her immaculate caravan but I refused because I didn’t want to mess up her floor with dirty boots. But all my life as a trucker I have seen the other side of these people so if all I can say is when I am a Romany I will vote Romany.
I’ll contribute to a fund, as long as it is for the purchase of a big pile of old tyres, some diesel and a box of matches. burn the rats out.
i live in basildon, and dale farm is only down the road.
locally, they can be a massive pain in the arse, doing the stereotypical things you’d expect from the lower end of the “traveller” scale. it seems the worst i’ve come across are the ones in the 17-30 year old category.
that said, i personaly think they should be left where they are at dale farm, the road in and out is quite rural, its almost a country lane really to get access in and out of the camp. the trouble is i feel for the law abiding residents that live on oak lane, as they are the ones that get the worst of the anti social side, first hand.
the problem is, if they do evict them all, (and there are bloody loads on the dale farm site) where are they going to go, i can imagine them camped up on every roundabout for miles, with horses dotted around, and large piles of rubbish building up everywhere, and then there’s the cost, i’m sure i read in the paper the whole eviction thing is going to cost something ridiculous like 10 million pounds 
maybe in this instance, its better the devil you know, and maybe leave them where they are■■?
