Covid patients are 4-6000 depending if you exclude ones not being treated for Covid. There’s 100,000 beds/patients. Therefore comfortably less than 10% by any meause. There are more beds being “Blocked” by the 10,000 healthy people needing care accommodation than the Covid patients. That would be a more worthwhile focus for attention

His early work was reviewed and agreed with by peer review systems. All good stuff.
In the 2020s he did some more work around hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. This work didnt show good results when peer reviewed.
Unfortunately, he seems unable to accept this, and continues to support non approved use of these chemicals.
He has also made unsubstantiated claims about dangers from vaccines.

Yes, I agree this claim will never be able to be substantiated with official figures. How can it when official figures overstate the harms from Covid, official policy increased the harms of Covid by refusing treatment. Also, official policy is to hide the harms of the vaccines as well as hiding the harms of the non pharmaceutical interventions (remember that cost benefit analysis they produced on the lockdowns? Me neither).
So we’ll just have to leave it as a claim that I believe.
