Aye, there,s pics on here of a couple of Tony’s DAFs and a 111, but none of the Maggie. 310 he had, I’ll need to see the man himself I reckon. Haven’t seen him for about 10yr, do you know how he is getting On these days?

Well seems like poor old Bewick has been given a lot of stick lately.
I feel sure the bullying via threads is a load of rubbish its purely micky taking and wind ups,something the road haulage industry individuals thrived on.
Those people who say they get fed up with Bewick Transport photos taking over on threads,well ok you are entitled to your opinions but just remember Bewick Transport was a sucessful company.
Dennis started the firm from scratch,built up a large fleet of smart vehicles,a company that didn’t cut rates and gave their customers very good service.
No doubt along the line over the years for Dennis it wasn’t plain sailing no doubt a lot of stressful times.
Then comes the difficult decision of selling a company that you have put all that you have got into it more ways than one.
It must have been gutting to sell a business to 3 spivs who then balls things up and the good Bewick name disappears from our roads,all that hard work by the Bewick Team out the window just like that how gutting.
Well Dennis I take my hat off to you,you done bloody well, keep the photos and the stories coming,like this post Dennis if they don’t like it they don’t have to read it.

Here’s a shot you may recognise the location,it is at Robinson Sacks on The Esplanade in Rochester/Strood I had just loaded and was pulling out to finish roping the trailer.It was this Atkis first trip when it was new in early '72.

Great read ■■■■■■■■ Gill…shame you had to go to such lengths to justify yourself… Hope it all ends here! And for those that cant decide whats banter & whats bullying I suggest you park your lorry up & get some skills in life!!Well I’m gonna have to park up then mate.
There are 2 separate issues here, the bully accusations on T.net( which I still stand by is not so,) and the accusations about the e.mails, which up to CG’s post was an unknown quantity.
If he did get relentless hate e.mails then he has a point it is definitely out of order end of.
But as I have said there is a vast difference between what has been posted on TN and what has been reportedly e.mailed by the guy, who would appear to have a problem with the young lad.
I would suggest CG has a re.think on this, instead of chucking bullying accusations casually at the drop of a hat which are both serious and insulting I would imagine to those involved.
Speaking as one that has stuck up for him in the past, I would be a bit ■■■■■■ if he included me in the majority he speaks of just because I have disagreed with him on this, but seeing as he looks upon criticism and honest speaking as bullying I ain’t so sure.
I admit I have been posting and prolonging this subject, but let’s hope it is now the end of this [zb].

Can I just ask if anyone has any photo’s of ■■■■ Grearson’s wagons from I think Distington. He was my mams cousin, and I can remember him calling at our house in Doncaster when he worked for Harold Wood before he bought his own. Thanks John G
