I am well aware that “Dave the Renegade” is fully supporting “C.G.” as a way of back-stabbing both “Bewick” and myself .
He has already made that perfectly clear , on here and on other threads too.
Trying to make me the scapegoat for your bully-boy tactics now are you CWM. You continually pick on CG for his postings, and then take him to task about his knowledge of grammar and knowledge of lorries. I always thought Trucknet was for lorry enthusiasts to post and comment about a common interest in commercial vehicles.
Its quite obvious that you have a bias against young people. You continually have a pop at CG,and also at Muckaway, but you are no match for him,as he could beat you verbally and physically. So just grow up and act your age.
Cheers Dave.

Dave, will you not be satisfied until you have “cleansed/purged” from TN anyone who not does conform to modern (ugh!) PC principles ? But for your info anything that is posted by the likes of my-self,CWM,“H” Larry D. etal must be taken,at times, with a large pinch of salt and I say again it is just harmless banter and I would ask that you not suggest otherwise. As for “Muckaway”,aka Nathan,he is a great lad I have employed dozens like him over the years,“salt of the earth” so again you have no need to stick him up as some sort of shield as from what I have got to know about him he’d just as soon join in with the “craic” along with us.So calm down mate and don’t get yourself so wound up or you’ll be in danger of “boiling yer watter” Cheers Dennis.
I , like you , Dave , was once-over young . We thought the World was our oyster .
We would be taught to look up to , and respect our elders and peers .
Sadly , nowadays , some of younger minority think that they already know it all , and don`t care what others
“C.G.” made some awful grammatical errors , but a computer has the facility to correct such mistakes.
Rather than “C.G.” using continual guesswork on lorries (dont like that word , really ),and hauliers , a bit of research beforehand would have eliminated the correction by others. Possibly his young ladyis now assisting him toturn the corner` . , as the recent postings have shown.
I am certainly not biased against young people . You only have to read the banter between “Strawgalore” and myself .
Hell,… hes half my age , and certainly knows how to keep the pace. B.T.W ., I was hoping to wrestle those lower lights and the Kelsa lightbar from his Scania , for fitting to my car . I couldnt reach the others above the tall cab`s windscreen.
I have witnessed young transport enthusiasts enter the hard career of haulage , and admire their choice. Some hauliers with whom
I worked alongside in my earlier years now have grandchildren working within. I do not ridicule these youngsters at all.
As for “Muckaway” ,…some of his unfunny and degrading postings are directly aimed at the less-fortunate and the disabled.
Maybe the latter is what he wishes others to be.

I don’t think its down to other members to take it upon themselves to point out CG’s grammatical errors. Not all computors have spell check etc.
Anyway I’ve said my piece. I rest my case.
Cheers Dave.

I did not say that you gave Nathan stick Dennis. If you read my post to CWM,you will see it was to CWM. He is constantly sniping at Muckaway, who is quite capable of sticking up for himself. I am quite calm about most things, but I don’t like to see a young bloke who is quite innofensive, such as CG getting ridiculed about nearly everything he posts. If he was a cocky young so-and-so my stance would be different. As for Larry D. I can’t recall referring to him in any of this nonsense.
Cheers Dave.

It dosen’t appear so “dew” a complete load of bollox if you ask me Cheers Dennis.
Really is, at the end of the day the sun sets (Fnar Fnar), I mean we all have a mutual interest hence we’re all here. It’s a shame we can’t share that without all this ■■■■■■■■.
I have worked a for a few ■■■■■■■■ companies so I often look into this thread. Unfortunately I am not qualified to post in here because as “bewick” has pointed out in the past, I drive for "fast Eddie"and therefore I am thick, lazy and useless. I am not fit to lace any of his old “drivers” boot “laces”. I am that incompetent that I can’t drive a mile without crashing or getting stuck under a bridge. Take my hat off to “Dennis”, he must be a trucking god as were all of his drivers as not one of them had a mishap.
Just to lighten the mood music a little----- Now how can I post this lump of ■■■■ on the Bewick thread,I ask you? So I believe it well qualifies to be stuck on this thread looking at the previous post by 'oor Marra frae Maryport it looks like I’ve just asked that Bird to drive it eh! Seriously though the Iveco didn’t do a bad job but unfortunately it wasn’t in the same league as the Scanias but we gave it a fair demo over the 6 months we ran it on the fleet, hence the sign written cab which the boys at Iveco begged me to do,well, apart from Derv and insurance for the duration it was only fair I suppose,so don’t talk to me about embarrasing ■■■■ taking,I got calls from all over at the time asking if I was feeling OK and had I tried getting therapy for “IT”

Be honest Bewick, you just didn’t have the materials to handle a motor of that quality

Oh! no not another one Whereabouts did I post all that vitriol ? As a matter of interest,we did have quite a few nasty accidents over the years and some where the drivers were long serving as well and while I have never said either Bewick Transport or the drivers were “THE BEST” I have said however they were as grander bunch as you might find anywhere within the industry at that time, you obviously have an inferiority complex “happysack” Question for you “happysack” which firm currently operating in the UK puts its-self up as superior to all others and never stops “blowing it’s own trumpet”? _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I’ll let you fill the blanks who knows what name you’ll come up with Bewick.
Couldn’t give a ■■■■ about the company. I have read your comments about your thoughts on the drivers. I have my opinions. You have yours. Good day to you sir.
Bewick:
This must be about the last unit my now long gone Marra, Georgie “Hiram” Holliday would have put into service prior to his retirement and sale.
hiya,
Did you ever try a DAF Dennis ?.
