Iāve cracked that one, its the truck pixies that put it there, at one point i thought it was some sort of static build up attracting those particulates as well as possibly a draft from the air blower thingy getting into the dash but nope definately truck pixies, the same truck pixies move my flask every time I reach for it.
im up for it

Dam, what am I going to think about tomorrow now arrhhgggggg
I remember a piece in the Sun several years ago about a lorry driver who had changed into a transgender woman. He worked at a food manufacturers in Rotherham, then Pawsons of Rotherham.Anyone else remember this?
having been a tramper now for over 20 yrs on and off, there are more cross dressing drivers about than people realise. I have seen quite a few during the years, some that carry it off well and some that are darn right comical, but I have always gone through life with the attitude of āeach to their ownā and ālive and let liveā,
Dear Lord.
Two things cross (no pun) what these days passes for my mind.
I must have led a sheltered life, and am eternally grateful for having done so.
Is there no low that Jeremy Kylesque televised entertainment wonāt sink belowā¦mind you making a program like must beat the hell out of a proper days work, and if people are daft enough to watch it then i suppose someone has to.
There was one on a programme called mother truckers or something a while back, ex forces fellaā¦
Itās all to easy to make fun off other peopleās lifestyles and to be honest I was trying to come up with some wity comment but couldnāt think off anything that hasnāt been said so I thought Iād be sensible .
I do accept that in all walks off life there are people different to myself, not every one leads there life the way I think or anyone else thinks it should be left. A cross dressing trucker would make a brilliant tv show. A predominantly masculine profession with big stereotypical burly, hairy sweaty knuckle draggers who bully and boss the highways goes to work in a dress and a ā ā ā ā tube, Iām sure the ratings would be good as millions across the country tune in whilst eating there dinner whilst taking the ā ā ā ā out off the driver and vow to keep an eye out for them so they can give him a bit off grieve if they were ever to see him driving along trying to do his job like the rest off us are doing.
A friend off mine came out last year as being gay. To be honest heās my fiancĆĀ©es friend from school and we have become good friends ourselfs. The first time I met him I said to her heās gay but he had a girlfriend at the time and she told me not to be silly, I could see it from a mile off. After a few months we were chatting on a night out when I just asked him, told him if he was I had no problem about it and he told me he thought yes he was. Now heās had friends for life that he couldnāt tell that to he was scared and didnāt know what to do. I gave him the encouragement to come out and he was so relieved to stop hiding it yet his parents donāt know because they would have him out on his ear. To me thatās sad he is what he is he can not change his feelings the way I canāt change my ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā . I like women and I like to dress like a man because I am a man. Whatās to say what others do is not right to them but I think they may need a different kind off help than being paraded on a tv show. My friend needed someone to talk to, he didnt need putting on a tv show āgay carpet fittersā for all to watch and form there narrow minded opinions on him.
I hope your tv show goes well, I hope it helps someone and hope as a production company you have good will at heart and arenāt just trying to fill a tv slot at some poor sods expense.
Anyone remember Allikat at Cannock a few years ago?
Pat
Would it not be a better idea to go to a cross dressing forum and ask who drives a lorry for a living
I would like to add that I am not a biggot, you do not choose to be black or white, straight or gay, fat or thin, tall or short or any combination of any of them.
However, I do find the reactions of some towards issues like this offensive.
It must take a lot of balls (no pun intended) to dress up as a bird and turn up for work as a lorry driver.
ā ā ā ā taking (which I would do to some extent) would be the least of it, Iām quite sure there would be far more sinister reactions from some.
Itās a funny world we live in, most of our prejudices stem from a book written a couple of thousand years ago, a book that very few of us (myself included) have ever read.
What do you call a DAF driving cross dresser?
ā ā ā ā ā Rumper.
Oh great. Another pseudo-compassionate freak show to grace the airwaves.
The facts are as follows: As in all professions, macho or not, people come in all shapes and sizes and have different quirks. And in all of these professions thereās a great deal of tolerance. Yes, there will always be people who will have a private chuckle between themselves at those who are different, no real harm done. And there will always be a few nasty sods who canāt just shut up and keep their hurtful opinions to themselves, thatās just humanity for you and it will never change. The rest of us will hardly bat an eyelid and just get on with our work.
Anyone whoās seen a bit of life will know this. But of course, this program will be designed to give small minded numbskulls something to gawp at.
I wish tv companies would spend their time and money on quality documentaries rather than trashy ones.
I take your above comments on board but can you really imagine what would happen if you, along with another ten or so truck drivers, were outside a RDC waiting for them to open the door and a cross dressing trucker turned upā¦
At worst, there may well be a few grins and glances and looks of confusion, I doubt anything would be said. And going by recent experience at an rdc, whatever is said wonāt be in English! Hardly worth making a program about either way.

I do yeah , to be honest other than the fact she was quite big i wouldnāt of guessed
Wasnāt there a driver on for Lenham who used to dabble in cross dressing ?
Tgtrucker:
Hello Katie.May I ask why the interest in truck drivers that cross dress?
ie why specifically truck drivers and not accountants, or plumbers etc?
Is it just cross dressing that you are interested in or does your interest encompass the whole of the transgendered sphere?
The reason I ask is that historically a cross dressing truck driver would be held up as an object for ridicule, and I have no interest in encouraging that view point.
Thanks for your questions!
Just want to be clear that we are not looking to exploit or humiliate anybody. What we really want to do is challenge stereotypes around cross dressers. We are looking at people in different professions too.

The reason I ask is that historically a cross dressing truck driver would be held up as an object for ridicule, and I have no interest in encouraging that view point.I canāt speak for Katie but I would think its to show how a total opposite way of life excists in an extremely masculine stereotypical job that opens up more of a sociably acceptable level of existence for those who cross dress in other less masculine employment: accountants, bankers, politicians, VOSA inspectors etc.
Taking the juxtaposition of one extreme to the other the show will act as more of a catch all to help those who maybe in a more feminine employment to accept who they are.
Course its better for selling adds during commercial breaks if the programme is likely to be popular and fly in the face of social stereotypes but that said there is a serious message behind it.
Controversy is a great talking point, not to mention a good cash cow if played rightā¦
Just guessing thoughā¦
I will add one word of caution, as I heard of a friend of a friend who felt they had been born into the wrong body and was very suicidal through it until they felt accepted for who they are rather than living a lie pretending to be what society expected.
Exactly right Dave!
ivāe been wearing womens underwear now for over twelve months, ever since the wife found a pair of black ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ,in the glovebox of me car.
