that’s shocking money :frowning:
110 a day inc night out, double manning up to 22 hrs a day
5£ per hour :open_mouth:inc no money

Well don’t do it then if you don’t like the look of it where as back in the real work it looks about standard

How can you possibly say doing a 20+ hour shift for say 85 quid by the time you take a night out off that as standard? That’s £4.25 an hour for 20 hours. Where do you work, Africa?

Get real, i’m afraid while people like you have this sort of attitude wages will continue to be ■■■■ poor.

I have no intention of doing it thank you.
However if you think £5 per hour including night out money is standard, then it is little wonder that firms pay so little, even below NMW when mugs like you accept it as standard
have a nice day

If the difference between putting good on the table or jsa. Which one would you do… And by the way i earn way above that per day thank you.

Wages like this are being offered not becsuse the firms are tight but because that is what they can afford to pay.

I am agree that they give little money, but if you know other companies where the drivers are working in two, please tell me and i will give them a call to see if they are looking for drivers.
It doesn’t matter if they aren’t hiring at the moment, i will try my luck. Thank you.

I would go out and catch food, rabbits, fish etc before work for that money, but you accept it as standard,
Are you Del boys brother
cos you come across as a plonker

Learn about the concept of day rate as said dont like it don’t do it simple and grow up i thought on 5 and 6 year olds did name calling

there hr lady phoned me just a few days back, new drivers get £70 + £30, after 3months plus £10.
so starting is £100.00, plus just taking names as no trucks spare for at lest 6wks and to start would only be uk, not euro.
so beware what a job site reads.

I wouldn’t work for that, I’d sign on first. I don’t mind the £110 a day bit, but working 22 hours for that, with someone else in the cab and a night out at the end of it? ■■■■ that.
I don’t see why it should be my problem that companies can’t afford to move stuff about.

It’s not about what they can afford to pay, it’s about what they need to pay, if they get no takers they’ll put the money up, if they do they won’t, simples

Other companies ?

Why do you want to work in a pair? FWP Matthews at Shipton under Wychwood normally double man.

I want to work with a friend of mine.

Ohhh.

Try Sports Direct, Shirebrook, Notts

It’s usually a driver and a porter, but it’s got to be worth a call, anyone doing furniture / beds. Kingstown furniture, harkers etc

22 hours for next to ■■■■ all? Are you drunk?

Not a hope in hell if wages going up if people are willing to work for ■■■■■ money.

As for double manning. If you want to have an affair with your mate, do it put of the cab eh. (Joking)
