Id like to put forward Sainsburys RDC at Emerson Green Bristol. First time I’ve been today and tipped under the canopy around the back. Fella on the forks was friendly, tipped me quick and when I asked if we were allowed to use the canteen he said, " Yeah sure drive, follow me and I’ll show you where it is as we’re going now"
When inside for a brekkie which was help yourself and got 3 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 hash browns, beens, tomato, mushrooms, black pudding, 2 eggs, 2 toast, slice of fried bread and a cappuccino all the the grand some of 4 quid
Wait for the slating from the Trucknet health freaks on here (greedy sod
)

Did a couple of drops around North Yorks last week. I was delivering timber, unfortunately one of my ratchet straps had loosened a tad resulting in a pack of timber coming off its skids. I was a little concerned. Tipped up at the merchants in Malton and explained/apologised to the customer.
" Don’t worry tha self lad. It 'll be reet." 2 minutes later, sideloader had it off and the chap was signing my paperwork.
Love Yorkshiremen.
Did he say that whilst doffing his flat cap and having his faithful whippet stood by his side and a ferret on his shoulder whilst snorting up the remains of snuff (pit bacca) that was stuck under his nose and around his tache?
Whilst rolling a bacca out of a pouch of either drum or samson[[depending what lads from pit club had brought back from weekend ■■■■■■ on ferry from hull to the dam]]

Oh aye forgot you was on a ship. Used to love watching the show on BBC 1 was it Trawlermen? Following the fishermen out of Peterhead? I bet the cook on them boats used to knock some right scram up especially the fish and chips, nowt no fresher than cod stright from sea to plate and goes down a treat I bet.
I was last at the fishing out of Lowestoft during the middle 60’s, before the days of freezers etc, the days meat was thrown down the ice chute an what you found first was what you got that day or the next when chopping away at it to chill or freeze the caught fish, regular breakfast was corn flakes with ‘shaky milk’ (evaporated milk watered down) with a whole plaice to follow, if you could chase it across the table if the weather was bad …
Maybe just me but I found that fresh caught fish don’t quite has the same taste that they have if they are allowed to ‘mellow’ a bit, ie, like good beef it needs to hang a while ■■
I do like delivering stuff to Yorkshire places.

If you deliver to where I’m from I bet you struggle to understand a word we say don’t you?
