Whether its legal or not, frilly curtains are and should really be the least of our worries!
The sainsburys driver for instance? How many times a day do you see this? Now compare that to how many times you see a “professional driver” with a mobile phone being held to his ear, which is not only a safety risk but highly illegal!
Now, compare that to how many times you see “professional drivers” tailgating! Again highly dangerous, like the one I saw on M6 this afternoon tailgating a coach full of school children!
Why are you guys not highlighting this? Cos it happens everyday and deemed to be the norm?
Or the amount of drivers both truck and car that drive in heavy rain/spray with no lights on, and u can’t see them til they are too close for comfort!
Or Mother Nature and the low winter sun on wet roads, which seriously harms visibility!

No you are wrong Luke anybody who drives on any road not just the motorway with vision restricted like that deserves to have their licence taken off them for a few months its utter madness and for anybody to condone that behaviour is as bad as them.Truck makers dont put windows in cabs for fun they are there so the driver can see vehicles pedestrians etc.and
can safely operate the vehicle. I dont have a lot of time for Pc Nairn but I would dearly love to be a fly on the wall if he came alongside that clown. Eddie.
Where did I say I approve of this? I clearly said i dont in the last post. I merely pointed out its not your or my job to catch them.
There seems to be an abundance of folk in this thread reading things that aren’t there.
I agree with Rob and Luke, it’s a fact that the guy in the Volvo is a complete ■■■■■ to drive like that, end of! but I can not stand these self righteous, self appointed traffic police One points out that “he didn’t take the pic”… yeh right mate , a weeks wages say you did!.. and another star goes on to encourage him by sending him the phone number, that he has actually taken time out to look up!.. so he can report him! , no doubt they will come on and justify it by the “it could be your family he wipes out” routine, think of the children, or exaggerate the scenario to it’s extreme by using the “bus load of schoolkids” chestnut. Concentrate on your OWN job instead of taking photos on a potentially dangerous o/taking manouvere, and reporting other drivers, and let the REAL Police, police the roads ffs!
